Cute place that is close enough to walk to the river for a relaxing day!

Decided to make a short trip to the Frio and needed a place for 10 people. We wanted a place close to the river and luckily found River Recess. The listing says rustic and I’d say that is an accurate description. We giggled at the “school themed” decor as 4 of us are educators. Seemed like we were destined to stay here. The house had everything we needed for a 2 night stay and plenty of beds. It definitely served its purpose for us. There isn’t currently WiFi at this house, but they said they have requested it and just waiting to hear back. The Frio Fun staff were so nice and accommodating. We would definitely book again.

Great vacation home. Clean and close to the river. Check in was easy and great service. Can’t wait for next year!
