Mansion get away
Publié le 18 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayPerfect location to see all of downtown Sacramento. Beautiful mansion in mansion flats with everything you need included. Easy check-in. Great communication from the host. I would definitely recommend this property to anybody visiting Sacramento for any length of time.

Beautiful Historical Home

Easy access to restraints and cafes within walking distance. Great communication with the host. Highly recommend.

Gorgeous Victorian home, not so good neighborhood

I would have liked to see in the listing about the parking in the back, in an alley. So, first we drove passed the home and realized there was no parking available. We had to contact the property manager for more information. He originally gave me the address. But, we had to find the alley.
Fortunately, it was light when we arrived. But there was no house numbers on the back gate. We actually tried others gates, before we found ours.
The parking space had an”warning. Unauthorized cars will be towed” sign. So, we hoped we were parking in the correct spot.
Our back entrance was just a regular gate, where the lock had been removed.
As we walked through the backyard, we noticed the old stairs leading up to the back entrance, they were broken down. One stair was almost completely eroded.
I had to bring our suitcase up those stairs. I guess could have walked around the block to enter the house from those stairs.
We were met we a cool home with air conditioning, which I was grateful for.
However, as a grandma, with my seven year old granddaughter, I didn’t feel comfortable. There were homeless around the area; sitting a house down, and there was a cheap hotel on the. Or we, two houses over.
We didn’t stay. We packed up and left.
I’ve worked with VRBO for several years. I was disappointed.
My granddaughter got locked in the one bathroom, because the door know didn’t work.

Girls Night
Publié le 8 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayPerfect for my friend and I to catch up while relaxing for a quick stay in Sacramento. Nice layout with high ceilings and good size kitchen. The bedding was very nice and comfortable. Hosts were great with communication.

I couldn't have asked for more.

I am transgender and my partner in crime is a fabulous drag queen, so we immediately searched for a gay dance floor Friday and Saturday night. (It was Badlands. Arrive around 11pm.) We searched by location to K Street and came across your property. When we first got to the rental we found a secure location and when I walked through the door and saw the fireplace to the left, 15 foot at least ceilings above my head, real hard wood under my feet. It took a few minutes to find the location of some ceiling lights we were looking for but once we started cooking, it was a chef's delight!! Checkout was painless and this was a rental we were delighted to clean before leaving. Thank you!

Downtown Victorian House over Christmas

This home is one of the last remaining designed by the Sacramento architect Joseph Ouchs. It is spectacular! While retaining all of the design elements popular in the late 1800s (ornately carved picture rails, pocket doors), the ceilings are super high making it light and airy so you get arched windows and doorways AND a clean, modern feel. And then you walk into the kitchen. The kitchen has been perfectly renovated with a professional grade Thor cooktop and oven. We spent a lot of time hanging out, making meals together, drinking wine, listening to music (you get the picture). Each room has a king-sized bed and we never had an issue with sharing the one bathroom. Sway/Shelby were extraordinary hosts responding instantly to any emails and checking in to make sure we were enjoying our stay. I highly recommend this rental – especially if you enjoy a little history mixed with a restoration hardware furniture vibe! We will be back soon!
