bonne nuit au calme
Publié le 31 août 2019 sur HotelsSur notre trajet de vacances en atterrissant à Oakland, nous avons fait une halte à Woodland. nous n'y avons passé qu'une seule nuit. la chambre était bien calme, propre, rien à redire. Sinon, le petit déjeuner était servi à partir de 6H30, et nous devions partir à 6H; pas grave. sinon, je recommande cet hôtel

The hotel was nice except the only coffee is in the office and only served from 8:30-11am also the manager insisted that the room be cleaned even with us in it. They need small coffee machines in the rooms

Bad check-in policies caused problems
Publié le 20 sept. 2024 sur HotelsThe policy of this motel, which is shared by only a few others, that requires the person in whose name the reservation was made to be present at check-in is very annoying. I made the reservation myself and received an email that was addressed to me, but the reservation itself happened to be made in my wife’s name because it is her Hotels.com account. The management of the motel gave me a very hard time about this even though it was clear that I had made the reservation even though my wife’s name was on the account. I even produced my credit card that was used to make the reservation. The problem was that my wife was sick and couldn’t make the planned trip with me so she literally could not be there at check-in. It took a long time to convince the management that they should allow me to stay in the room. I was concerned that they were not going to honor the reservation, but I would still have to pay for it. in the end, they relented, but this policy is a bad one. In all my travels over the years, I have only run into this problem one other time, having checked into literally dozens of motels that did not require my wife to do the check in just because her name is on the account. at the other motel that had this policy, the representative was positively rude. I would never stay there again. At this motel, they were polite, but took too long to resolve the problem. I don’t know that I would stay here again.
