Perfect location
Publié le 22 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayOverall was convenient, well equipped, comfortable beds, and very clean. First night sleep was difficult due to noisy people upstairs. Next two nights were nice and quiet. Otherwise stay was great!

Crack pipe and same code
Publié le 15 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe hosts were really nice and communicative . But there were quite alot of issues and uneeded stress during our stay. The host gave the same code to another group as us. We were settled into our place when the host said we are in the wrong area of the house. We couldnt leave the festival so had to rely on the maid moving our stuff which was awkward and had to go back and forth saying hey not all our stuff is here please retrieve the rest etc. . Also my husband found a crack pipe underneath our bed from previous guests which was horrible. As well as septic issues. Overall not a good experience.

We regret that this guest encountered several issues that we rarely see. The August lock app issued the same code to this guest and another unit. We contacted August and were told the firmware needed to be updated and they are sending us a new set. Unfortunately, Jessie was able to use the code and checked into a 3-bedroom house, as opposed to a 1-bedroom apartment that she had booked. This was an uncomfortable situation and we tried to make it a smooth move for Jessie. She was upset but we tried to be as responsive and understanding as possible. Previous guests broke the rules and smoked marijuana in the unit, and our cleaner missed it. We sent the cleaner in right away. We responded immediately to every message by this guest, and did everything to fix any issues. We regret that this was not a good experience and wish there was more we could have done. We wish this guest the very best.

Evan called us when he arrived and said he expected this to be a 2-bedroom unit with 2 beds because the listing said it can accommodate 2 people. Our listing clearly states that there is one King size bed. Evan asked us how 2 people can sleep on one bed. We explained to him that couples can sleep in one bed, and when searching for a place (a VRBO property OR a hotel room), it is best to make sure that it has the number of beds you need. A hotel room could have 1 or 2 beds, and he would have the same issue if he had not specifically booked a room with 2 beds. We offered him to cancel the reservation but he chose to stay. We try to be as clear and transparent in our description as possible but we also hope that guests input the right parameters when searching for a place, and review information carefully. We believe this review is unfair and not reflective of the situation..

wonderful stay

The host was incredibly good with communication (speedy and instructions were super clear). The location was just a few blocks away from eateries and bars. I highly recommend this place!

Lovely stay

Weekend Getaway
Publié le 17 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis property was perfect for a weekend stay. Though it wasn’t as central as expected, it was still really close to everything and Ubers were really cheap. I would stay here again 1000%, I had a fantastic time.
