A tastefully remolded apartment located in a perfectly centralized location in Midtown Sacramento, walking distance to many of the areas best restaurants and bars. Plenty of windows to let in the natural light and provide an airy vibe. Originally constructed over 125 years ago, now with recent elegant touches like the marble back splashes and marble mosaic bathroom tile. A fully equipped kitchen with all the essentials and laundry allows you to settle in nicely . You'll like this one :)

The apartment is part of a building with three other units. This is an upstairs apartment. The space flows well with high 10" ceilings and both bedrooms at opposite sides of the apartment separated by an open concept kitchen/living room.

Guests have full access to the apartment and everything in it. There are no locked doors or cabinets.

Your apartment has digital door locks so that you can check in on your own. Meeting you there in person won't be necessary, but we will be available 24/7. If you need anything at all, just send us a quick message.


Neighborhood description
The apartment is just minutes walking to all the best restaurants and bars in midtown in a safe and lively neighborhood. Just a few blocks from downtown, the Convention Center, the State Capital.

Getting around

➤ Upon booking, you will receive a rental agreement/check-in form that you are required to sign and return before your arrival

➤ If you are a local resident, you must contact us before booking

➤ Guests acknowledge that they will keep their noise level to a minimum after 10:00 pm; sound will travel through the walls if too loud.

➤ No parties or events allowed

➤ No Pets allowed

➤ Guest must provide us with a valid ID that matches their credit card information

➤ Guest must provide us with a valid working phone number & guests listed on the reservation must report to us within 2 hours from the time of arrival if anything in regards to cleanliness does not meet their standards so we can help address the situation as soon as possible

➤ NO SMOKING or use of fire permitted in the rental; guest acknowledges that no "smoking" includes the use of vape pens and marijuana and "use of fire" includes the lighting of candles, incense, or sage. There will be a $200 charge per day of reservation if this rule is not followed

➤ There can not be any more than the allowed number of guests in or on the property at any one time, violation could lead to the immediate removal of all guests without a refund

➤ Late check-out fee of $50 (if not authorized) applies for check-outs after 11:00 am. We're sorry we have to charge this but we pay our housekeepers based on the agreed-upon checkout time and if they are unable to clean we still have to pay them

➤ We will place a small deposit hold on your credit card two days before your arrival to cover any accidental property damage that may occur and it will be released after your check out

➤ If we fail to capture your security deposit, your reservation will automatically be cancelled

➤ We would like to inform you that a 4% credit card fee will be applied to any cancellations and refunds and we will follow the platform's cancellation policy

➤ Guests who make reservations for over 28 days must sign our standard lease agreement and agree to a background check before check-in (it will be provided before check-in)

➤ As part of our commitment to maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for all guests, we require a midterm cleaning for reservations lasting 28 days or longer. The midterm cleaning will take place on the 15th day of your reservation. This cleaning is mandatory and is designed to ensure the continued cleanliness and hygiene of the property

➤ The cleaning fee for the mandatory mid-stay clean will be deducted from your security deposit

➤ Excessively dirty units will incur an additional cleaning fee and will be evidenced with photos

➤ For your security and protection the property is equipped with an exterior camera

➤ Remember to take all your belongings when checking out. Left something? There's a $50 Mailing Fee (not including postage). We aim to return items within 7-10 business days, but please bear with us during busy times. Thanks for understanding!

➤ For security reasons, NO food or package deliveries inside our gated complexes or internal buildings. Please meet them outside the buildings or gates.

➤ If not following any of our rules forces us to refund or discount an upcoming or existing guest you will be liable for the costs

➤ If you were a previous/current guest and did not respect our house rules and our property, we have the right to decline your next reservation. Thank you for understanding

Functional space
The apartment is one of four units. The unit has many modern upgrades, and is a decent space to work as a base during a Sacramento visit. There are many good food options nearby, but some basic kitchen prep and serving utensils are provided.

Perfect Location and Lovely Stay
My son and I needed a place to stay while visiting family in Sacramento. This property was in a perfect location for our needs. It has great amenities, two bedrooms, and we liked being on the second floor. The back parking lot was a little tight, but we made it work. Had to park on the street once due to crowded situation, but the neighborhood is safe.

A very nice and clean apt. Walkable to so many restaurants and shops. Quiet and offers off street parking. I would stay here again. I felt safe. This building has 4 apt’s. I stayed in Apt 4. There was an issue one night with the apt below me but the manager called immediately to let me know what was going on and it was taken care of quickly. I appreciate the communication being so efficient.

We just love this Rental!
This VRBO is the perfect little place if you want to be in Midtown. We were literally within walking distance of most of the places we wanted to go. The neighborhood is super friendly and very social. We have stayed in the same VRBO 4 times now, and it never disappoints. The property manager is very responsive and actually checks in on us routinely (via email.) The rental is clean, and the perfect setup for the 3 of us who stayed. We love how easy it was to navigate Midtown. Within walking distance are many places to eat, corner stores, and fun night spots. We highly recommend this VRBO!

Great Location - needs some attention
Easy access, great location, attractive property, attentive manager. Issues: October 2022 dishwasher is broken & appears to have been broken for some time, shower door handle is falling off & bathroom fan is on sensor & comes on in middle of night & various other times, floor is vacuumed, but needs a good mopping, silverware drawer tries to fall to the floor. Management company is responsive, but not doing the fixes that need to be done.

Amazing deal for the money in MidTown.
Walking distance to restaurants and running/biking distance to capital. Stayed for a few days to attend ironman and worked out extremely well. Two bedrooms with queen/twin was adequate for wife and son support me for race. Would recommend and come back.

A friend and I spent 5 nights here for a long weekend and enjoyed our stay. There's lots of bars and restaurants within a short walking distance as well as a mass transit. The neighborhood is also pretty chill.

Well maintained 1890s appt with easy access to some great restaurants, shops and activities. We enjoyed the details of many older homes all around, strolling the capital grounds and park and the street fair/market during the weekend.

It was a cute place but had some odd things about it. You can only get to the silverware by opening the dishwasher. The kitchen isn't well stocked. The A/C wasn't working in most of the apartment. There was a separate unit in the back bedroom that was working, however the front bedroom and living room didn't work. They did refund us some money due to this issue. We suggested fans as well as there were only space heaters in the property. They weren't able to get us fans to us during our stay. The location was great and walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants.

Brought my kids to Sacramento to see the Capitol, old Sacramento and Train museum. Meals are expensive so we opted to try this vrbo place instead of a hotel. It’s very clean and Check-in/out was a breeze.

Overall this property is great. The listing did not mention that there are 2 separate bedrooms and a pullout sofa. The beds were so comfortable and the linens so soft I spent time looking for a manufacturers tag. We had problems regulating the heat and would recommend printed or you tube instructions. The property is great. Stylishly appointed. The kitchen ...we stay in VRBO"s because we don't like to eat all our meals in restaurants. The kitchen is lacking in utensils(dull knives) no pasta pot,strainer cups,bowels and such. You can't open the cutlery drawer without opening the dishwasher. Easy fix is to change the handle ON the dishwasher. Location is great accessible to walk to stores,restaurants etc and there is parking on site. Please leave 2 rolls of TP and paper towels and fix the kitchen issues. Then this will be a Premiere Property.

Historic maybe, but not memorable
Communication with hosts saved this from being an awful review. We are becoming less pleased with off-site/out of town, ie Memphis TN in this case, management companies. The lock code instructions were incomplete, causing a late arrival headache. Very clean place with a helpful cleaning crew who we met and who fixed another major headache with the TV. Wires all over the place, no antenna, dead batteries in the remote. Again the management did respond on the phone but could basically do nothing. Shoddy cabinet drawers couldn't open, dishwasher literally falls open onto your leg if you're not lucky. No end tables next to sofa so drinks go - where? Heat units on walls were useless so each room had a space heater. These kinds of properties will only deteriorate if the management never sets foot, much less actually stays in them. Can't rely on trendy pictures forever! Location and parking were decent.
