I stayed at Residence Inn Saddle River NJ for 4 nights with my family. It was a terrible experience, to say the least. I walked in to a damp smelling room. The bathroom smell was worse. The front desk people were not listening to our needs. I told them that our room phone is not working, they ignored me. On the 2nd day, I asked the front desk to freshen up our rooms. They said ok, but nothing was done. On the 3rd day, I asked again, nothing was done. On 4th day, I asked again, nothing was done. We were completely ignored on our requests. Trash was piling up. Linens were soaked. And after checking out, they charged us for parking. I told them that parking is supposed to be free because thats whats on expedia when I booked the rooms. They told me to complain to expedia and not to them. Staff at this property were very unhelpful. The GM on this property needs be aware.

Staff was not much helpful. Limited options for breakfast. Unfavorable check-in policy.

Check your final bill for parking fees, I had to request a refund because my booking stated FREE self parking, we had to restart the AC daily because it would cut off (maintence came showed us how), water pressure low, closed pool earlier than posted, door from courtyard was unlocked to enter bldg, staff was nice, convenient location and quiet. Breakfast thumbs down, comfort of beds & sofa didnt sleep well, bad wifi connection was given a 800 number for tech help and still got spotty service. I would stay again only if I had to.. definitely not worth the charging price. Expedia booking was spot on though no hiccups and would definitely book again using expedia for future traveling.

There was left over trash in the room as a result of housekeeping not cleaning the garbage out under the sink in room 3105.
