The hotel was far off the highway- that’s our fault. We should have looked into it better.
It was small - that’s ok - we were only staying to sleep
It wasn’t clean - the bedspread had stains - the bathroom had stains on the wall
The water smelled awful - we didn’t flush the toilet - the stink was so bad

I enjoyed my stay there. The staff was very nice & helpful. It was very quiet & peaceful. Great location for going to VA Hospital in town. My only complaint was a problem with the wifi, but only after a thunderstorm came through - was ok for 2 nights prior but iffy afterwards (3 nights). I didn’t want to bother them about it again since they had reset everything already.

My boyfriend and I booked this hotel as it was close to an event we had plans for. The room was okay but the bathroom was very small and the door did not latch. The air conditioner had a strange smell when I turned it on and when we went outside to our vehicle we somehow got locked out of the room. Then we had an emergency and needed to cut our stay short by a day. I asked about a refund for the day we were unable to stay and I was told they couldn't issue one as I booked my stay through Expedia, well I contacted Expedia and explained the situation and they contacted the hotel who refused to give us a refund. Basically they lied to us when they said they were unable to do anything because we booked through a 3rd party. They could have given us a refund for the one night but simply refused (I did not plan to have an emergency cut our trip short). Also, when we were being checked in our credit card information was manually entered and I watched as they saved the card information on their tablet (like you can do on your phones to use it again) when I questioned why I was simply told they had too.

Sorry for inconvenience but your actual reservation for three nights and checked out one day early for reason for your job but we have cancelation policy for 24 hours so we can not issue refund for that .and if you get anything extra charges accept your room charge just give us call we will happy to help you to get your refund and also my front desk ask about your stay and you was very happy and said it's you love it and very quiet there is no complain anything about it .Thank you
