La Grande Vue is a magnificent 4-storey villa situated in the village of Saint Cyprien, on the sloping hillside above the Dordogne River in the Aquitaine region of France. With rustic stone walls and breathtaking views, La Grande Vue ideal for a holiday at anytime of the year.
The house boasts exquisite views, modern finishes and plenty of space for groups of six to ten people. In winter the double-glazed windows, central heating and two fireplaces keep it cosy and warm; and in summer the thick stone walls keep it remarkably cool, with help from the air conditioning on sweltering hot days.
This 245m2 four-storey house has been recently refurnished to ensure all four bedrooms and the living areas are comfortable and modern. Working from the ground up, the first floor consists of a fully equipped kitchen, with a round table that seats eight; a separate scullery; a guest loo; and a grand dining room. The dining room table also seats eight people and there are sofas around the fireplace, giving it a relaxed, homely feel. A wrought-iron table and chairs are available if you want to sit outside at street level to watch the world go by as you enjoy your morning coffee.
The next level has an open plan sitting room with two separate seating areas, a fireplace and wide balcony. A study/ TV room leads off this living area, fully equipped with a flat screen TV, cable services and free Wi-Fi, which is available throughout the house. There is also a guest bathroom on this level.
The two main en-suite bedrooms are on the third level. One has a semi-enclosed terrace with tables, chairs and a bar fridge. The other two bedrooms are on the fourth level and share a bathroom; one has a three-quarter bed and two single beds, and the other has a double bed and a three-quarter bed.
The house is walking distance from the shops, restaurants and medieval church in Saint Cyprien.
