This review is false and rude! We pride ourselves in our attentiveness and cleanliness as one can see by our honest reviews left by our other guests. A gate pass is easy enough to obtain if something goes array with the security gate. If someone comes to the gate and for whatever reason security does not have your name, security calls me or my assistant where we can verbally give permission for our guest to come on to the island. Takes 1-2 minutes to correct, if needed. And the limo golf cart was in the shop so we left you two 4 seater golf carts for you to use. Every now and then you get a guest who is just not satisfied with anything

Our apologies but a couple of things. The lights do work going down to the garage. We tested as soon as we received your review. They do work but you have to have one switch down while the other is turned on. Not anything different than many homes I've lived in and manage. The door locks also work. They are tricky for some but very common on our island. You have to lift the handle up and then turn the locking mechanism. A quick phone call or message to us and we would have loved to show you how to work the lights and the door locks, but we heard nothing from you. The water line broke. I had no forewarning on the break. The water department was apparently right down the road from you working on the gushing water. They were fortunate to be able to repair it rather quickly. The wifi was in and out. This happens sometimes in all lands. Nothing about this house that has any sort of issue. We have people vacation and work at this house all the time with no problems. The safety rails are not broken. They need to be tightened in some places but we had just had Hurricane Idalia come through a few days before your arrival. We will always make sure the house is safe for our guests. We will absolutely check on the nails that have popped up. I am sure they have. It happens rather frequently on beach houses in our area. I wish you had called us about the nails. We could have taken care of that for you on the first day in a matter of minutes. I will absolutely call the exterminators to have them go and service the house again. This is the first time anyone has said something about seeing bugs except when one group had left the doors open to hear the waves and of course bugs fly in the open doors and are attracted to the lights. Basically, I sure wish you had called us and given us a chance to help you with the locks on the doors and the lights and fixed anything that you couldn't work or needed our help with. We live right around the corner and are here to help with any and all things so our guests have the best experience. I would politely suggest that on your next vacation that you give the host/hostess the opportunity to make you more comfortable vs. being shocked to read about it all on a review. Thanks, Kathy

I think the ice maker may have been user error as it has worked for everyone before and after your stay. We tightened up the dresser drawer, and hammered a couple of nails. But You did fail to mention that you damaged the garage door and the golf cart. Not a pleasant find and quite expensive to repair.
