People have the right to their opinions - but they do not have the right to lie. We live on Fripp Island so we are frequently at our condo. After we have it professionally cleaned, we always check to make sure that everything is spotless. We resent your accusations that it was not clean. We checked out the things that you said in your review and here is what we found: the kitchen faucet does NOT leak, the shower handle does NOT "spew water". The pots and pans were bought new this spring - they were all perfectly clean, no rust, no scratches. The stainless steel garbage can is NOT broken or dirty. The rugs are in good condition. We have them steam cleaned regularly and there are NO damaged rugs underneath the runners. The curtains are fine and do NOT need replacement. There is plenty of light in the bathroom. Perhaps you didn't turn the second light on. All of our kitchen appliances are fairly new, stainless steel, clean, and work perfectly. Our Carrier heating and air conditioning system is brand new. And yes, we have put plenty of money back into our condo. You saw the pictures of our condo before you came. If your intent was to have a nice beach vacation, you could have spent it that way. Why didn't you rent somewhere else that is not as you say "dated". Instead, you chose to spend your time making up a phony checklist telling outright lies - maybe hoping to get a refund. Our condo is a cozy, comfortable, clean beach condo - NOT a sterile hotel room. Yes, our condo is rented a lot partly because we have a good number of regular guests who come back year after year. Hi Kenneth, Yes the view from our condo is stunning! The beach has not eroded and under normal circumstances during low tide there is plenty of beach that sticks out into the ocean. Hurricane Helene - which at that point was Tropical Storm Helene - pushed this huge tidal surge onto Fripp Island as it moved north that covered the entire beach and most of the seawall while you all were there. Hi Brian, Yes - what a view!! We've owned our condo for about 22 years now but never get tired of sitting in the shaded rocking chairs outside the patio doors while watching pelicans flying in formation up and down the beach and dolphins popping up out of the water when you least expect them!
