Nice little House
Publié le 1 nov. 2024 sur HomeAway Charming little house was in a perfect location. Check in was easy and house was very clean. Easy short walk to downtown St. Joseph, restaurants and shopping. Golf course was short drive. The owner, Cindy, was very helpful with suggestions for dining and events. There a fire house right next
door and a church behind the house, so sleeping was a challenge at times since the church chimes ring EVERY hour all night long! Thank goodness there werent any sirens at night from the fire station too!

Girl’s trip
Publié le 27 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayLocation is great. Through instructions and easy access. Walk to restaurants and shops and Silver beach for sunset. Everyone had their own room. Nice having a powder room down stairs. If there were elderly or folks with climbing issues the stairs could be a problem. Wouldn’t suggest a brighter strip of paint on the last step and at the landing. Otherwise great place to stay

We loved St Joes
Publié le 16 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a lovely weekend, weather was perfect, we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. Cindy gave us some great recommendations for shopping and restaurants and kept in touch with us during our stay.

First time visit to Michigan

Great Location
Publié le 28 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayGreat location. Stairs would be dangerous for elderly or small children. A bit dark and gloomy. Beds were great and everything very clean. Extra charge for bath towels seemed a bit crazy so we didn't use them. Overall a good stay.

Thanks Lisa! The stairs are as safe as stairs can be. The staircase is extra wide, normal riser height, has a secure handrailing and a very bright light that can be turned on from the top or bottom of the staircase. No way to avoid stairs in a 2 story house. I guess ALL stairs could be dangerous for elderly, small children or anybody really.
I do include hand towels, washcloths, dishtowels and paper towels, but unfortunately with all the bedding that needs to be laundered, there is no time for an additional wash load for large towels in the 4 hours allotted for cleaning. Therefore I have to charge an additional small cleaning fee for the use of our Bath/Beach towels. ( or you could have laundered them before checking out, to avoid that fee) Thanks for taking great care of our 2nd home!

The house was clean and in the perfect location. Close to downtown shops and places to eat. I would definitely rent this house again.

Cozy Cottage
Publié le 22 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayThis place had everything we needed- Cindy was very gracious and made us feel welcome. Was great to be able to walk to all the restaurants and shopping. We use VRBO regularly, and this was one of the cleanest places we’ve ever stayed.
One caveat- it is an older home, so not a great choice if someone in your group has mobility issues.
