Room with access to the pool is a must. Hotel is fairly dated, certainly needs renovations especially in the rooms. More like a 3 star in terms of service & amenities. Staff speak pretty much no English (thankfully I speak little french) and no translation for help/instructions, as well as breakfast is quite limited. In all beautiful hotel but expected much more in other areas.

Great location and interesting architecture, a shame there doesn't seem any money having been invested since long to maintain a decent standard - let alone a standard allowing for the prices they are asking....

One particular lady on the reception was particularly rude, arrogant and obnoxious. I won’t name names but she definitely needed to attend a customer service course. The others were very friendly and pleasant.

A great stay right on the beach

Pros: Great design, modern, right on the beach. Access directly from room to pool.
Cons: I liked it just as it is.
Location: Ideal for a beach holiday.. If you want the local scene a short walk and on the same beach are a varitey of pubs and restaurants
This hotel is on the west side of the Island and has lots of sunshine. If you have a mini suite you have a patio area from which you can enter the main pool directly via a canal. There are plenty of sun beds around the pool and on the grassy areas in addition to the beach. The restaurant is very good if a little expensive for the English visitor. Reception staff and restaurant staff speak some English so no need to try your French unless you wish to. Easy car parking.
