Publié le 21 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayOur hostess, Amy, was absolutely fantastic. The Casa Nectar was beautiful and spacious. The kitchen area was incredible, the main sitting area (with double hamac) and comfortable couches, was incredible with a great view. The upstairs sitting area with couches and single hamac was also incredible and also with a breathtaking view. Perfect place to watch the sunset from whatever floor you wished. Every floor and room had a view of the ocean. Absolutely loved my stay, thank you so much.

This May Be My Favorite Place We’ve Ever Stayed

Our room was perfect- sparkling clean, exceedingly well maintained, well designed and decorated, and so comfortable. We loved the full second floor balcony, the roof deck, and hearing the ocean right out front. The shared kitchen downstairs is perfect, as is the open air eating and hangout area. We loved our walks down the beach to the surf break, and spent time in the middle of the day exploring the area or reading on the outdoor couches or hammocks. Amy is a kind and knowledgeable host, and we really appreciated being able to ask her and two other caretakers about the area. We will definitely return, and when we do, we plan to stay at Casa Nectar again. Thank you!!

Great Spaces Overlooking the Water
Publié le 3 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayReally Enjoyed our stay here. Nice spaces to hang out great breeze and very nice to have the AC when needed. It's definitely a little funky in character but that's part of the charm.

Good Accommodations for Saladita

The communal kitchen and living space is awesome, the room itself is perfectly fine, especially for the price. The place needs some maintenance done but nothing that affected our stay. It is important to note that the surf break is a good 15 minute walk down the beach, but we left our surf boards at the rental place and it wasn't too big of an issue.

Hi Molly, The surf spot is a 9 min walk. I do it almost everyday ;) and Yes all oceanfront buildings need constant daily maintenance. We have the most breezy spot on the beach which keeps us the coolest but we also have more wind hitting us then any other building so it needs constant love. Glad you loved your room and yes all the boards are left right at the break and in the future if you bring your own board it can also be left right at the break for free and watched over by a family we work with right on the point. Casa Nectar is heaven!
Publié le 29 avr. 2023 sur HomeAwayHard to put into words how great this place is. Amy is amazing and the vibe is relaxed and casual. Incredible views with the beach below. A short walk down is a great swimming and surfing beach. Rooms are perfect and the open air communal kitchen, dining, and living spaces are beautiful with strong breezes to keep you cool. We walked and took taxis, no need for a car. We went for surfing, not much else to do besides hot springs, caves, and sleeping in the hammock. Enjoy the good life at Nectar in Saladita.

Publié le 15 mai 2022 sur HomeAwayMy boyfriend and I rented room #3 for two weeks. This is the room on the corner facing the surf break so we could peek out the window to see how the surf looked. We enjoyed our two weeks there. Karolina was a wonderful cook and cleaner. The shared kitchen downstairs allowed us to store and cook food. It is a communal feeling in the place and everyone we met was very nice. Amy communicated well with us before our stay. And her description of the place is accurate on the listing.
