A nice place away of your home
Publié le 12 août 2018 sur HomeAwayWe went there for three nights. The house have everything you need to feel at home even if you're away of your home. We cooked every day and we enjoyed the kitchen. As we are european tourists, we have discovered the amazing Alexa hands free calling device available in the house.
I took the time, because it was so warm, to spray the garden and specifically the flowers of the garden that were so lovely.
The only negative point was the air conditioning system: it was so hot during these days that the rooms upstairs were so warm. So you need to put the air conditioning system on cooler temperatures and after a few hours, the temperature was correct upstairs, a bit cool in the dining room and freezing in the cellar where the home cinema TV experience is located.
Definitively, a good place to stay.

Thank you for taking the time to write such a nice review! We had the air conditioning unit replaced and the entire house is cool and comfortable. Oregon had some record hot heat this summer, a little unusual for us.

Lovely home!

Love the off street parking and proximity to anything you might need. I would highly recommend Salem stays and this lovely garden home.

Great 5 day stay!
Publié le 24 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayFully remodeled and clean. Very happy with the stay. Our son enjoyed the toys, and because we were traveling he did not have many. So that kept him occupied when needed! Host was very responsive to messages. Thanks!

Perfect place for our family!

We enjoyed relaxing breakfasts and goofy game nights together. I will keep this place in mind for future stays. Thanks so much for a place to unwind!

Good property in a quiet neighborhood
Publié le 24 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe Jefferson Cottage was an ideal base camp for two of us doing the Ironman Oregon 70.3. The property was clean with fully supplied kitchen that came in handy for preparing the pre-race spaghetti dinner. It is located a few miles from Riverfront park ( about a 5-8 minute drive). I fully encourage anyone looking for a clean, safe place to stay near downtown Salem to strongly consider the Jefferson Garden Cottage.
