Great hotel, lights.. but freezing barely any heat
A friend and I went for New years eve celebrations. The property is beautiful and there were a ton of Christmas lights just outside our balcony. Pros: Clean, comfy bed, great breakfast buffet in the restaurant included, friendly staff. Cons: There is a gas fireplace which is the ONLY SOURCE OF HEAT. Our room was freezing from about 3pm - 1am. The bathroom floor is tile and freezing.

I was having Xmas events with family living in Silverton, so didn't get a chance to really explore, so no much to say about the grounds, etc. Room was nice, comfortable, quiet; staff very friendly. Minor suggestions: one bedside lamp was glitchy (wouldn't stay on); gutters and downspouts over the terrace need cleaning (overflowing several times during stormy/rainy night; probably not good for the building). And maybe you have little or no control over this: the TV "guide" screen was pretty useless -- nothing but channel # and affiliation -- i.e., same as on the card. All in all -- I hope to come back during spring or summer.

Enjoyable stay at Oregon Gardens Hotel.
Spacious room with fireplace and patio. Great shower. Nice staff. Very good breakfast and comfy bed. Weather was bad, so didn't explore the gardens.

Somewhat unique property. There is a large common building with restaurants and such. Then the rooms were in clusters of about 6 rooms to a building and spread around in a large area. Nicely landscaped grounds. Heat, however, was from a gas fireplace which was hard to regulate. Breakfast had less choices than other places and quality of food was just OK. Upon check in, clerk forgot to put my keys in the holder so after I left the main building, I had to return.

This property is such a hidden gem. The fireplace in the rooms and ease of access to the rooms was amazing. The lounge was cozy and relaxing allowing a wonderful place to connect!

Breakfast needs help asap
The stay in the room was excellent, along with the fireside lounge listening to the live music. The complimentary breakfast was awful that was inside the restaurant area. Food was cold, no non dairy items were available, the coffee was rancid and tables were very dirty.
