Cozy Cabin in the Mountains
Publié le 1 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayI would give Monarch Mt Cabin 10 stars if I could. The neighborhood is beautiful with mountain views every way you look. There is a delightful stream running behind the cabin and a fire pit and picnic table nearby to enjoy it. The cabin was spacious and clean. The host provided generous amenities, cookware, utensils, and much more.
There are endless activities in the area. It's a short drive to downtown Salida where there is shopping and restaurants and the river runs through the downtown area. There are several hiking trails nearby as well. The whole place looks like a picturesque postcard. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great little cabin in the woods
Publié le 26 août 2024 sur HomeAwaySuper cute 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom with King comfortable bed. Love being in the trees and my favorite part was the creek that runs in back of yard. Very peaceful and even more cuteness than the pictures. Thanks to owner great communication with us. We stayed a week so location was perfect for day trips.

The location (and privacy) was great for us to be able to drive out each day to surrounding areas and have the cabin to come back to every night! The hot tub was such a treat! The stream and fire pit were nice to sit enjoy the outdoors, day or night! Highly recommend! 10⭐️

Summer vacation in Maysville
Publié le 12 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThis property did not dissappoint. We were looking for a cabin out of town and this was perfect. It's right by a creek, on the way up to Monarch pass. It is higher altitude than Salida and was nice and cool the entire time. Lot's of outdoor activities close by and Salida is only a 10 minute drive away. I will definitely stay here again.

30th Anniversary Getaway
Publié le 18 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis cabin was perfect for a mountain getaway during the summer to celebrate our anniversary. Cabin was clean, very well stocked with kitchen items and linens (even a dishwasher!), with a mountain feel yet still close to attractions and conveniences as well as outdoor recreation. The hot tub was great, and the north fork of the South Arkansas River runs through the property, creating a peaceful environment. Cabin was cool yet cozy and quit comfortable. My favorite part was just sitting on the front porch reading and listening to the sound of the rushing river. Thank you Leona and Jim,

Great Getaway
Publié le 4 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayThis property had everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable. The river and fire pit were wonderful! The location is beautiful and we enjoyed going to the hot springs that wasn't too far away.
