Stayed here a few times
Publié le 18 oct. 2024 sur HotelsI’ve stayed here a few times and it’s a decent place to stay. Nice to be able to park outside your door to unload. Bring a chip clip or hair clip to keep the drapes closed. Got a total of 9 emails for this 1 night stay. That seems excessive, but can’t complain that they don’t communicate.

The staff are really nice there! I like having the Continental breakfast available. The hot tub is a great bonus.

I have stayed at the motel many times, over the last 15 years.
I can say this with some authority.
1. It is very clean. Love that.
2. The two former owners completely modeled the facility, and made it a place to be proud of.
3. Since the former owners left, it's my opinion the same level of care and maintence is not a high proirity. End tables, and other wood furniture is chipped and looking worn. The walls need refreshed, dur to chipping and wear.
4. The staff member on duty when I checked in could best be diatribed as sirly and not welcoming. As an example, I couldn't get the air conditioner to operate in 80 degree westher, and when I reported it not working the brusk reply was "it is working fine, and use the controls on the wall". I again tried to operate the A/C with no operation. She came to the room (again with an attitude) and tried to prove me not capable of hitting a button. When she didn't get it going, she stated "it must be shut down for the season". But after she took the took the cover off and "repaired" the A/C. she left. Shortly after the A/C cover fell off and I left it against the wall.
