Uncomfortable Stay
Publié le 22 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe house was super dirty, looks like the owners (or someone) lives in it full time and just left because it was rented. It looked like it hasn’t been vacuumed/cleaned in awhile. We ended going to the store and buying our own sheets/blankets/pillow cases because it looked like the sheets hadn’t been washed. There was a huge pile of lent on the night stand in the bedroom we stayed in. The couches were stained and just gross looking. The house was just absolutely dirty which made it super uncomfortable. If they would just clean and vacuum and mop, the house would be nice and comfortable to stay in. But Clearly, someone is living there full-time and just left right before we showed up.

The property is in old town Salinas. It was clean and stocked with the basic sundries. It was in a quite neighborhood and the neighbors that passed by were all friendly. The was a taco truck on the end street that seemed to be a permanent fixture..pretty good and open late. Golds gym is also very close by. I will admit the parking situation was not ideal. Parking in the drive way (even in my compact)
was not great because of the other inoperable vechicles already parked in the drive way. In front of the home was also another vechicle that looked like it never moved even still parking two vehicles was doable but we would have preferred a little more accessibility.

Vintage home with modern updates
Publié le 24 nov. 2022 sur HomeAwayCozy two bedroom home from the 20’s is my guess. Our family of 4 had a good stay. A few minor issues that are easy to forgive overall. Heated bathroom floors! Would stay there again.
