Third Stay & Always a Great Time
Posted Oct. 23, 2024 on HomeAwayMy partner, dogs, and I just got home from our third vacation at this cabin on Lake Dunmore. We always feel welcome and right at home, love the cozy cabin vibes, and spending as much time at the lake or hanging out on the porch to take in the Green Mountains. Can’t recommend staying here enough!

Relaxing and restorative stay with dogs
Posted Oct. 6, 2024 on HomeAwayCouldn’t be happier with this quaint, charming cabin. Loved the wood floors , screened porch , and mostly the large fenced yard and the dock for ball throwing with our goldens .
The area is so peaceful and quiet this time of year . Took a hike around silver lake . Loved every moment of this fall getaway , hoping to come back again.Many Thanks to the hosts !

Vermont week vacation
Posted Sep. 17, 2024 on HomeAwayWe met Polly at the house for a quick meet and greet and orientation. The house is very comfortable and had everything we needed. Grocery stores, shops, etc. are a brief drive. Enjoyed hearing the geese and owls and watching the mist rise from the water in the morning. Would happily visit again!

Lovely Screened in Porch
Posted Aug. 31, 2024 on HomeAwayOur favorite thing about the cottage was the screened in porch. I slept out on the twin bed on the porch every night! Kitchen was very well stocked with gadgets and spices. The on demand water heater ensures everyone gets hot water.
The only “issues” would be the stairs to the bedrooms is very steep/narrow and no real grab able handrail, not good for people with any kind of mobility issues. The lake access was not the best as there is no “beach” area. It would have been nice to have stairs off the dock.
