The bathroom faucet was loose. It was not secured to the counter top. The drain stopper was missing. The tile floor in the bathroom and foyer were sticky. The breakfast white egg omlets were cold.

The hotel seemed older. The breakfast was not very good at all, very limited choices. There was police activity in the surrounding area every night. The side door was broken so anyone could enter the building, even without a key. The rooms were big but old and run down. Not worth what they charge per night.

Air conditioning in room and throughout common area was musty . HVAC system is in need of service. First room they gave us the carpet was actually wet around the air unit and room smelled of mold. Second room was better, no wetness on carpet but air was musty. Staff were friendly and efficient. Would not recommend due to HVAC.

I was nervous after seeing reviews, but this hotel was great! Staff were attentive, welcoming and kind. Room was comfortable and had everything we needed. Will definitely stay here again while visiting kids at SU.

The property wasn’t bad but, when customer service sucks it makes the visit not good. The young lady who checked me in was pleasant. We walked into our room and felt an immediate heat wave. So the front desk clerk on the night shift and the older clerk who came in that following morning stated that since we booked through a 3rd party (Expedia) we could not get our room changed. The older front desk clerk was nonchalant about it as if we were bothering her. I just hope they do better with future customers and properly fixing malfunctions.

Property was dirty, including our sheets upon check in. Staff was very pleasant and responded quickly. Owner/manager response was terrible. Only one person in hotel at check and she had left the desk to do other work. We had to wait with others for quite a while. Would never stay again. Used to love Holiday Inn Express. What happened????

Hi, first we were sent to a room with no AC, then to a small room with no phone. The shower was dirty and the carpet was not vacuumed well. It just seems this Holiday Inn Express has gone down hill. We miss people like Ms Rae at the front desk.
