Great Location with private pool
Publié le 6 août 2022 sur HomeAwayYou cannot beat the location as a supermarket two blocks away, and the beach is walkable. Parking is great, as you can park and walk everywhere in Salou.

Lovely Villa - Needs some TLC
Publié le 21 juill. 2022 sur HomeAwayThe villa was lovely/very secure and is in a really good location but we had numerous issues over the duration of our week stay:
- The electricity tripped over at least 10 times a day, causing the fridge/freezer and the aircon units to turn off so had to be re-set each time. This happened during the night which meant someone had to get up to reset the fuse and turn on all the air-con units across three floors causing disruption of sleep. Someone did come to look at this, but it wasn't fixed so this was an issue all week despite reporting it to the property managers.
- We had pre-arranged transfers from the airport and before arriving I'd asked if someone could meet us at the Villa with keys and was told that was fine and just to ring when we arrive. When we rang we were told this was an extra charge so we had to collect the keys even though I'd already asked about this prior to arriving.
- The villa sleeps upto 16 so when we arrived there were only 3 very used sun loungers around the pool. We requested more there was 15 of us and got an additional 4 loungers meaning over half of our party still didn't have a sun lounger.
- We were advised the pool would be cleaned every other day but it wasn't cleaned once so when we left the pool was basically green. We also had to ask for a net so we could remove the leaves etc ourselves everyday,
- One of the beds was broken, we were told a new bed would arrive which it never did.
- The windows and doors have shutters on them. The one on the back door of the kitchen stuck which was reported. Someone came to look at it, said he would be back in 20 minutes and never returned.
- The fridge/freezer leaked all week (separate to the electricity tripping). Someone came to look at this but it wasn't fixed so we had to keep a sheet under the fridge all week to avoid anyone slipping.
- Linens were provided in a clear bag on each bed for you to make up yourself. The was only one towel and no bath mats which was dangerous as all the bathroom floors are tiles and my auntie nearly had a serious accident for this reason.
It's a shame that we had these issues because the villa was very secure and really nice, just seems to be neglected and could do with some general upkeep. I've contacted the property managers a few times on these issues and have had no response on these matters and still awaiting a reply now. These issues were raised whilst we were staying at the property as well.
