Bank Holiday Bliss

Publié le 7 août 2021 sur HomeAwayThe location of the property was perfect and we checked in fine. The house could have been a little cleaner and there were a few small issues, no light working in the ensuite bathroom (we looked at the spare bulbs - none fitted). The shower in the middle bathroom leaked over the side of the bath - we kept a towel there but maybe one to note. Other than these small issues the house was just what we needed to accommodate the family group and have a lovely holiday.

Lovely stay in Staithes
Publié le 6 août 2021 sur HomeAwayWe had a great week in Staithes, the property is as described, clean and spacious. Well equipped kitchen and comfy beds. The lower terrace could do with a bit of a spruce up but the upper one is lovely and comfy and offers great views and sun of an evening, if you're lucky enough to get good weather! The dropping off and loading bay outside is great and although it can get very busy, especially on changeover days, we never had an issue and there is a quick turn over so just keep your eyes peeled. We used the Glenvale parking at the top of the road and found it friendly and easy to book. Lots of great walking from the door, rock pooling at low tide and even swimming in the if you fancy. We recommend the Fox and Hounds pub in Dalehouse - very good beer (and scones!)

Sunny Staithes
Publié le 4 juill. 2021 sur HomeAwayGreat location in the centre of Staithes. Had some issue with parking, one area £6 per day another £10 and need to top up in time to avoid hefty fine. Lovely inside the house, modern kitchen. Although outdoor yard could do with a bit of maintenance we made the most of the sunshine and the views sitting out there until the sun went down. We walked to Runswick Bay one day and caught the bus to Whitby another, very handy. A lovely relaxing break.

Great Christmas in Staithes
Publié le 7 janv. 2020 sur HomeAwayHouse was perfect for four adults for a week at Christmas, with Christmas tree, wine and chocolates to welcome us. Warm, comfortable and spacious, apart from the living room which would be a bit of a squeeze for a larger group.
