Much needed break
Publié le 13 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayBeautiful homely little cottage. Fabulous fully equipped kitchen. Comfy beds. Fantastic garden and lots of seating around it. Everything you could want or need and more. Idea location to visit Whitby Staithes and beautiful country villages. Would definitely stay again.

Crabapple Cottage
Publié le 24 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayLovely clean cottage, well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Great sized garden, perfect for our dog to run around in. Crabapple Cottage is in the perfection location to visit Runswick Bay, Staithes and surrounding areas. Highly recommend.

The communication with the owner prior to check in was brilliant,and the welcome goodies were thoroughly appreciated after a rather treacherous journey. The location of the accommodation was perfect and provided a fantastic base to explore the local area. The cottage itself was immaculate and provided all the ammenties you could possible need. We would love to reutrn in the summer months to make use of the huge private garden.
Overall,we highly recommend this accommodation and would not hesiate in returning.

Fantastic stay in Crabapple cottage
Publié le 15 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe had a fantastic stay in the cottage in November. It was a great location with a great local pub literally next door and so close to Runswick Bay and Staithes. Only 10mins in the car to Whitby as well!
The cottage is lovely and perfectly sized for the 3 of us plus a dog.

Lovely little cottage in lovely village setting

The accommodation was very comfortable as advertised and is extremely well equipped for a lovely stay. The icing on the cake for us was the large enclosed garden to the rear being a much welcome addition for our 2 dogs! Great location being in the doorstep to Runswick Bay and Whitby - we’d love to return one day!

It was conveniently situated for some wonderful coastal walks to Runswick Bay and Staithes. We used the bus to get to Whitby, so didn't need the car once there. We highly recommend this property and would definitely consider staying again, perhaps for longer next time.

Lovely Easter stay at Crabapple Cottage
Publié le 14 avr. 2023 sur HomeAwayBeautifully presented cottage; cosy, clean, comfortable with everything we needed for our short stay. In a great location, tucked away just off the main road. A generous welcome pack on arrival which went down a treat! Our two boys, 12 and 14, loved the trampoline. We walked from the cottage to Runswick Bay with a successful fossil hunting trip and then carried on along the Cleveland Way to Staithes, before looping back to Hinderwell along the road. We enjoyed a lovely evening meal at The Badger Hounds, just a minutes walk from the cottage - be sure to prebook! Great days out at Whitby and Saltburn-By-The-Sea too. Just wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you very much Jane for letting us stay in your property; we hope to return.
