Beautiful Saltburn by the sea

Very dog friendly and catered for with bed and treats too! Thank you, we will definitely book again.

Publié le 25 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayA home from home! My daughter & I had a lovely week exploring Saltburn-by-the-Sea, Whitby, Skelton, York, Thornton-le-Dale, the Moors, Helmsley, Redcar etc!
The apartment is in a great location with all the required necessities & the bonus of free parking on the road outside the apartment. The apartment was clean upon arrival and check-in was smooth (with a keycode being sent to my phone via text). The owners were both easily contactable and we had peace of mind knowing that they lived nearby if there had been any issues. We were able to log-in to our usual streaming services on the main TV (and remembered to log-out before leaving the apartment!). The smaller TVs in each of the bedrooms only had freeview so were not really used that much in the evenings..... mainly we were too tired after all the walking!! There is a small supermarket is just up the road which is handy for any food or drinks required for your stay, which means that you dont have to pack the car to the brim!!
We would happily recommend 'Sandalwood' to anyone looking for a lovely place to stay in Saltburn-by-the-Sea.

Good for a short stay

Kitchen too small to cook anything significant - no space to chop anything and could have been a bit warmer (except front bedroom that did get cosy). I would stay again for a short stay of 2/3 evenings but not big enough for 4 adults for longer than that.

Salt burn by the sea
Publié le 20 août 2023 sur HomeAwayGreat with grandson. He loved it. Travelled to Whitby 25 miles,Redcar lovely beach. Very nice park nearby in saltburn with miniature railway down to the beach. Saltburn cliff tramway from beach to the town.
