Saltum Beach
In the beautiful and unique nature of the North Sea lies this attractive and cozy holiday home. The house is located a short distance from one of Denmark's best beaches (700m).
The area offers plenty of activities for the whole family. Here you will find bowling alleys, children's playgrounds, tropical water parks, golf courses, fishing parks, equestrian centers, sports halls and more. You can also visit Fårup Aquapark & Sommerland, one of Denmarks biggest.
Fårup Sommerland and Blokhus are located within cycling distance of the holiday home.
The 1600 m2, sunny, partially planted and undisturbed dune plot is not far from forest and beach. There are also protected areas that invite you to go hiking with the whole family. After a wonderful nature experience, make a refreshing dip in the North Sea.
This bright and welcoming holiday home is nicely furnished. In connection with the living room with wood burning stove, there is access to the large covered southwest facing terrace. The southeast terrace is also partially covered. Both the kitchen department and bathroom are bright and functionally furnished.
The wooden terrace has been redone spring 2022.
New floors spring 2023.
Practical information:
There are duvets and pillows at the house. Guests need to bring their own sheets and covers for duvets and pillows. Guests also need to bring their own towels. Rates are excl consumption and cleaning.
Water and electricity readings are noted by the tenant at arrival and departure and consumption is calculated and deducted from the deposit. Current prices are 2,5 kr/kWh and 80 kr/m3.
Cleaning is done by the tenant at departure. There is a cleaning manual in the house. If cleaning is not sufficient, the deposit will be withheld. It is unfortunately not possible to book cleaning.
The house is non-smoking.
No pets allowed.

Beautiful house in a beautiful surrounding
We had two wonderful summer-weeks in this great house, near the wonderful sea. The accomodation has everything you need, a cosy living-room and beautiful terraces. Very quiet and peaceful and a lot of opportunities for nice day-trips with children. All in all perfect. Thanks a lot to Søren, who was very friendly and helpful in every communication!

Erholsamer Urlaub in einem sehr schönen Ferienhaus
Ein sehr schönes und geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Ferienhaus in ruhiger Lage nicht weit vom Meer, mit viel Platz und sehr gut ausgestatteter Küche. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohlgefühlt und würden gerne wieder kommen. Vielen Dank an Søren für die sehr gute Betreuung.

Toller Urlaub in Strandnähe
Der Urlaub war sehr schön. Das Haus war sehr gemütlich und es fehlte uns an nichts. Die Umgebung war traumhaft. Wir haben insbesondere die wundervolle Natur, den superschönen Strand und die Nordsee genossen. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend. Wir möchten uns herzlich bedanken, die Unterkunft gerne weiterempfehlen und sehr gerne wieder kommen.

Great house
Very peaceful and the house had a great location. The two terasses complete with table and chairs on both of them made it possible to sit wherever the sun was. None of the neighbouring properties were able to see into the space were the house was. Very clean and very well equiped kitchen. Very good communication with the host.

Cozy home
We found a very cosy house that is not too small even for a family of five. The terraces are wonderful and the fireplace quickly creates a cosy warmth in autumn. The kitchen is equipped with everything, including sharp knives, which is not usually expected in a holiday home. High praise! The only downer is that you have to clean the house yourself. This is not a problem in principle, but not all guests take it equally seriously. Nevertheless, we can highly recommend the house.

Supertoll!
Absolut gemütliches Haus in schöner, sichtgeschützter Lage. Alles da was man braucht und der Weg zum Strand ist gut machbar. Toll ist auch, dass man dort direkt mit dem Auto auf den Strand fahren kann. Der Kontakt mit dem Gastgeber war sehr nett, wir Ort hatten wir noch zwei Fragen, die schnell beantwortet wurden. Gerne wieder!

The perfect holiday (house)
The three weeks we spent in the house had been amazing! The house is cosy, offers everything you need and the surroundings are beautiful. We had to get used to cars driving along the beach, but the sand and waves made up for it. Definitely recommended for a great family holiday! Also thanks for the very friendly service by the owners!

Toller Urlaub in einzigartiger Umgebung
geräumiges und schön eingerichtetes Haus in toller Lage. Alles Nötige ist vorhanden und die Kommunikation mit dem Eigentümer super einfach und freundlich. Der Fußweg zum Strand zieht sich etwas, aber dafür ist es super schön und fast schon einsam. Kann man zu 100% weiterempfehlen.

Wirklich schön!
Ein geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Ferienhaus, fußläufig 15 Minuten zum Strand. Das Haus liegt ruhig in den Dünen, sehr sauber, bestens ausgestattet, mit zwei Terassen perfekt.Toller Strand, gute Lage für Ausflüge, auch die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter funktionierte sehr gut. Empfehlenswert!

The perfect house for perfect vacation
We spent a wonderful vacation in this amazingly beautiful house. It is in the middle of the nature and near to the sea. It has all what let you feel comfortable. From the first moment we felt home there. The house stands alone, so you have calm all the time. The rooms are very nice and clean. The kitchen has all you need and the living room is cozy and with a lovely atmosphere. You can sit on the front and the back outside, which is great. And we had a happy welcome with cool drinks and warm words of the landlord and his wife. It was definitely not the last vacation there and we are looking forward to come back.

Fantastic house in an ideal surrounding, close to the beach and with all modern amnenities
We were welcomed very warmly by Dorthe who gave us a quick tour of the surroundings and even made sure we had some nice cold drinks for when we arrived,... a perfect start to our holiday. The house is separated from all the neighbours as it is surrounded by trees, and it is also away from the road which gives a lovely cosy, isolated and intimate feeling which is just what we were after. The house was completely clean from top to bottom and we felt at 'home' straight away. The walk to the beach takes only around 7 minutes, and you can also drive down there directly in only a couple. When you get there, wow, what an amazing beach! Great waves, nice and warm water for swimming and when it was too windy to be on the beach, there was plenty of sand dunes set back from the water to shelter and camp out for the day. All in all a wonderful, comfortable stay in a beautiful setting.

Lovely cottage near sea
This spacious cottage is well equiped and beautifully situated. It offered peace and quiet for us parents as well as fun and adventure for our kids (three teenagers). This is due to the wonderful beach that is within walking distance, but can also be accessed by car, and the fact that Farup Sommerland is near. At an half hour's drive there's Aalborg, excellent for shopping, visiting the zoo etc. Within a 5 minutes' drive you are in Hune though, where there's ample opportunity to get everyday groceries. The cottage itself is situated in the dunes, on a spacious lot, which ensures a quiet retreat. Deer walked through our front yard regularly! The owners respond quickly to emails and issues. The dishwasher broke during our stay and within a day a new one was installed. Also the fridge was stocked with beverages upon arrival. A holiday cottage highly recommended!
