Look forward to another visit in the future. The weather prevented us from being able to fully enjoy the outside. We did enjoy the little time we did !

Publié le 5 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis was our second stay in the caboose. We loved it as much as first - WE LOVED IT! Managers are responsive. Property is well maintained and equipped. I could spend all day on the front porch and all evening on the rooftop deck overlooking town. Look forward to visiting again in the future.

Be aware that during rafting season, the nearby rafting company starts up around 7:30am.

Amazing and relaxing
Publié le 21 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayWe didn't want to leave!! Such an amazing place in a really great town. The Caboose was so warm and cozy. It has everything we needed. The rooftop deck was so great in the evenings. A great little piece history. I have already recommended it to all our friends.

Anniversary weekend

Steppin' Back to the "Southern" Days
Publié le 2 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayAs a major Southern Railway buff, having the opportunity to stay in Central of Georgia X-61was simply outstanding. The mix of modern / rustic decor and the railroad history is just right. The way that this Caboose has been preserved and re-imagined, while being historically accurate, provides every comfort of home imaginable with some bouses!
It was an exceptional birthday surprise and I look forward to returning.
