The hotel was lovely. I didn't get to enjoy the surrounding area, as I had a late check-in and early morning check-out for my train ride to Bukhara. While the room I initially had was lovely, the guests across from my room were smoking cigarettes inside their hotel room. It was so strong that it infiltrated throughout my room due to ventilation systems. At round 1 to 2 am I called the front desk and the gentleman working was very helpful in confronting the guests and telling them to stop, he also got me into a new room. I appreciate him doing that. While I know this is something the hotel cannot control (i.e., guests smoking in the rooms despite the visible sign in the room forbidding one from smoking or else a fine would be issued), I cannot rate the hotel that high in terms of comfort. It took a whole hour for me to get my room, when I could have been sound asleep. I slept poorly. The room I was put in was not in as good shape, i.e., it was a bit worn and torn. Nonetheless, I would like to say thanks to the young man who checked me in as well as Bekhruz in the restaurant for their welcome and dining service, respectively.

Good place, great team but needs refinement

The name Hilton itself sets high standards for any property that they are associated with. It was for this reason that our expectations were not met with the property. The hotel has an amazing staff but i guess that they are under staffed which is directly impacting service and resulting in missed expectations. We faced some minor challenges with the room and the staff did their best to get it addressed. However, it resulted in loss of time for the external excursions as we were attending to the resolution of highlighted problems

We booked this property fairly quickly without doing a ton of research and were so pleasantly surprised when we arrived. It’s located on Wellness Park, which is separate from the rest of the city. It’s large, beautiful, and has a ton of stuff to do. The hotel itself is stunning. It’s super clean and our room was comfortable. We were also happy to learn that there is a medical clinic in the hotel, which we ended up having to use for an unexpected medical issue. We were blown away by the front desk staff who arranged for a complimentary ride to a local pharmacy and back so that we could pick up medication. Cannot recommend this hotel enough!

Great hospitality and helpful staff

It was a great experince to stat in Hilton Sogd. In Samarkand there is a particular area that created mainly for tourists. Hilton Sogd is just at the beginning of this area and offers great hospitality. Especially, Behzad who was really friendly and great on speaking both Turkish and English. Once again I thank him for his kindness and helpful gestures.

Hotel good, breakfast no.

The hotel itself is new, clean and very good. My problem was with the breakfast. They didn't give any variety. It was the same everyday for one week; not very appetizing.
