Requires Top~Down Cleaning and Refurbishment...
Publié le 21 oct. 2024 sur HotelsApologies, but cleanliness was a HUGE issue ~ Floors and carpeting in common areas and my room were in need of deep cleaning, possibly replacement ~ There was a musty, “off” smell immediately apparent when entering my room (#304); not overpowering, but not something a guest should encounter ~ The last renovation is getting tired and beginning to show wear and tear ~ Breakfast: scrambled eggs were fluffy and very good (and I do not like scrambled eggs...) but the rest of the breakfast buffet was minimal and the cream danishes were just awful, real “bargain basement” stuff ~ Clerk at check in was friendly, efficient and, in all, couldn’t have asked for better ~ Clerk at checkout was NOT unfriendly, but clearly uninterested in providing customer service beyond the minimum required ~ For near $200 per night, this was simply unacceptable.

Regarding your breakfast, this is our signature Choice Hotels breakfast. All items are approved vendors. Yet again we apologize if it did not meet your standards. Regarding cleanliness of hotel, we work very hard to ensure our hotel is spick and span. We are known for a great clean hotel, so once again we apologize.We are a very busy and high demand hotel and updated and refresh very often. We hope you can see us in the near future for our new updates. I did send you a discount link for your next visit which we hope you consider.

Exceptional property for price and location. We got a room on top on backside away from interstate and we never heard a sound even though they were completely booked. Very good hot breakfast ~even offered pumpkin spice flavored Texas shaped waffles! Very friendly staff. Thank you so much, we will be back!
