My cousin and I stayed here for three nights over the New Year’s holiday after booking through Expedia, and it was terrible from start to finish.
The room was dirty upon arrival, with soap scum in the bathroom, mold on the curtains, and a disgusting microwave. Housekeeping never cleaned the room or replaced towels and toiletries during our stay. I also saw a baby roach in the bathroom. Additionally, there was a car air freshener placed in the air conditioner, which felt unprofessional and gave the room a strange smell.
The beds were extremely uncomfortable, with flat pillows and stained, ripped sheets. I already have back and neck problems, and this stay made them worse.
The front desk staff was rarely available, and the interactions we had were unfriendly. There was no manager on-site to address issues. The one time housekeeping came was 15 minutes before checkout.
Noise was another major problem, with loud banging and running above us, including early morning disruptions. On top of this, the Wi-Fi and phone service barely worked, making it impossible to stay connected.
This was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had, and I urge others to avoid staying here. While Expedia offered me a $50 credit, the hotel needs to take accountability and issue a full refund.
