Avis Virginia #B San Antonio Guesthouse Near Downtown

Quiet. Easy to access San Antonio attractions. Clean. All supplies provided except dish towels (required to wash dishes and put them in exact spot we found them). Comfortable bed. Answers to a text query came quickly. Shower head leaked when in use. The front door needs to be fixed so that it can be locked. (We tried many positions of the door and if the door was pushed, it would open). The carport would comfortably fit a midsized vehicle at best.

I wanna start by saying I had a great stay at this location. There were a few issues however that I had during my stay unfortunately. The first one was the lack of a second bed/bedroom. I know in the description it states it’s a single bedroom but in the pictures they put images of what looks like two separate beds/bedrooms. When I arrived to only one bed I was a little surprised. The second issue was a control on the AC temperature. We were told the lowest temperature we could put the AC at was 75 degrees. This was an issue because it happened to be really hot and humid when we stayed and even though we had the AC on we still found ourselves hot and sweaty, especially when sleeping. Another thing that could be a concern was the holes in the corners of the wall that led straight to the outside. On the positive side, they had provided us with the necessary items to wash our clothes, cook, do the dishes, iron our clothes, towels, hair dryer and a tv. I also appreciated the easy access to the downtown San Antonio area. It was easy to request an Uber or even get Uber eats.

We had a great time at Richard's place. The communication was super easy and quick and the place looks exactly like it does on the pictures. The neighborhood is very convenient and very quiet! I would absolutely recommend staying there!
