It has an excellent location. However, the tidiness in the rooms is not that good. I think that the cleaning ladies could do better and be well trained to do a bed. In the 5 days we stayed at the hotel, they didn’t do a good sweeping of the floor and the beds were poorly made. The breakfast is super limited

Not a lot of space in bathroom area to put clothes to change after a shower. About 5-ish EV chargers not in operation. Disappointed with that since we needed to be able to charge over night. They were covered with plastic. Dogs barking in the room next to us. Room felt humid at times.

The room had a very overwhelming cologne-like scent, but was overall clean. The pillows felt hard, the bed was uncomfortable, and the air unit sounded like a boat motor. I slept two hours, and my husband said it’s the worst sleep he’s had in a very long time.

Comfortable Stay with Room for Improvement

The room at Hyatt Place San Antonio was clean and comfortable, and the overall stay was pleasant. However, the lighting in the room, especially around the vanity area, was too dim, making it difficult to apply makeup despite the mirror lights. It would be helpful if the lighting was brighter or adjustable. Additionally, while the breakfast options were acceptable, offering plain egg whites alongside scrambled eggs would be a thoughtful addition for those with dietary preferences. Lastly, the ice water had a strong chlorinated taste, which could be improved. Despite these minor issues, the staff was friendly, and the accommodations were otherwise enjoyable.

Everything was clean and all the staff were helpful and friendly. The only issue was the shower was slow to drain but staff assured me it would be fixed quickly and were very polite when addressing the issue.
