parking is random, limited, sketchy neighborhood area, faces trash area of restaurant in front of location

Here is the positive before the negative. I give 3 out of 5 stars due to:
1. The staff was friendly
2. Was a quick check-in
3. The water was hot
4. The bed & pillows were comfort
5. TV, fridge, microwave worked
6. Ice maker worked.
Negative was the towels had stains on them,we had to ask for clean ones. The shower curtain had stains on them as well. The toilet seat was not secure. Needed fixing. The grounds need cleaning, the doors have pealing paint as well the rest of the building and stairs need paint.
The cost per room was very cheap so I guess you get what you pay for. If your staying a night in San Antonio and on a budget, this place would be fine for you.
Next time for me I will pay more for more cleanliness elsewhere.
