Weekend getaway
Publié le 17 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe house/room is super cute and cozy. Location is great! Close to everything downtown and Riverwalk. We chose to Uber cause I don't like to sweat, but it's about a 10 min walk to the Riverwalk shops. Only flaw would be the neighbors pupper had us up at 6am every morning. (Earplugs were provided) Overall a great stay and would recommend!

Publié le 15 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayStayed here for a concert at Frost Bank Center and the location was perfect, only about 10 minutes. The bathroom was beautiful and the host provides pretty much everything a hotel has plus more. Would definitely stay here again if I come back to San Antonio!

Thanks for staying with us. The Riverwalk is actually two blocks away from wheee it starts. I’m not sure if your destination was at the other side of the riverwalk and that is the reason you thought it is far.
About the neighborhood with all do respect describing a place as sketchy is very sad and it is a perception. It is downtown where a lot of changes are taking place right now, it is a neighborhood that is changing with the help of the people the city of San Antonio investors etc… However, describing it as you did only pushes back people believing and supporting projects to make San Antonio downtown a great place to visit

Publié le 14 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayI would rate property 0 due to Owner's hostile attitude, no hot water, gaps around AC unit where insects can get onto the room. Properly is a money grab rental BEWARE. Doors to hallway are flimsy with gaps at the bottom and room has poor amenities including a hot plate, crooked wooden counter, and aged refrig. We didn't stay at all and Owner would not refund or send Maintenance to the room. Vrbo should investigate retouched images on their website.

Unfortunately your review doesn’t represent us. You didn’t want to stay for personal reasons and wanted me to refund your stay. I explained to you that it was not possible and you said you where going to write a bad review to damage my property.
All our amenities are less than 5 years so we don’t understand how Can it be an aged fridge or a bad hot plate when we provide an induction cooktop for our guests.
Our Ethic and values don’t let us photoshop pictures or give our guests a different view of what they will find.

Close to lots of things
Publié le 27 avr. 2023 sur HomeAwayOverall not a bad place to stay just a few issues. The walls are very thin so everything others and you do can be heard. The front door lock seems complicated because I could hear people struggling with it all day and night. The AC seems to have a mind of its own and didnt always want to come on. The floor is hard wood and seem to be swept but lacked any kind of cleaning. If you wear white socks they wouldn't be after a visit. The TV non stop poped up a message saying it needed more space and would interrupt anything you watch.
Now for the good things. The place is located close to a lot of things to do and places to eat. The bed was comfy and it did have covered parking. Although the drive way is really hard to deal with a low car. The price was pretty good compared to other places.

Hub thanks for your review. I want to share some comments about it. The door is a smart entrance with codes as you know and unfortunately is is the easiest one we could find in the market. About your socks we will be happy to send you a new pair. The reason is that as you saw the house is an historic house so the floor is 1910 original hardwood that we need to give maintenance with different products but be sure that is not lack of cleanliness. We take very serious that and we do deep cleanings every time a guest leaves.about the tv I will check it today because it’s the first time we listen that a message is popping up about space
