I didn't like that the carpet in the room was all dirty, the air conditioning didn't cool enough, they didn't clean the room, the faucets were leaking water, the bathroom looked completely neglected, it only had lamps, it had no light.

Travel here for when I do services in the inland empire. This area is perfect spot for my traveling for work. The people that used to run this spot was amazing and professional. Not only that they kept the rooms tidy. I called ahead to request a early check in. Dude on the phone was so rude. Checked in early, went up to the room, toilet had hair in the bowl. Paint was peeling from the wall. I've read from other reviewers of a awful smell. Well room 218 has that smell. I'm usually in the rooms on the opposite side of the building. I had to go to work before check out. Called to ask if I could check out early, and also informed the man I checked in early. Still rude af, and hung up on me. Gave me so much grief when I tried to get my deposit back because I came late. This was my last time here. New owner sucks.

Stripped down to basics, yet still pleasant

Always a very pleasant stay. The staff are pleasant and efficient. No breakfast. No coffee. I sleep well there, though

even though this motel is a decent value, there is no excuse for the countertops to be dirty with "schmootz" on them...clean your rooms properly..also the fact that the front desk was covered in security and I had to check in from an outside window, it made the experience feel unsafe when ended the surrounding neighborhood did not appear unsafe.
