Great Home Away From Home

The casita was extremely clean and felt secluded even though it was centrally located to everything you could possibly need - countless restaurants, pubs, and even a full grocery store - all within a block or two of the casita.The off-street parking, well-stocked kitchen, ample storage areas, and on-site laundry all make this a winner!

Everything we wanted and more

The location was perfect with walking distance to stores and restaurants, just a stone's throw from Balboa Park and the Zoo. Quiet, clean, and restful. Our host responded quickly the couple times we had questions. Would 100% recommend to a couple or a couple friends visiting San Diego.

Publié le 11 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe only problem with this place is the driveway for parking. It is really difficult for 2 people to get out of the vehicle once parked, because there is not enough space. One has to get off by the sidewalk, so the driver can pull over far enough to open his door!
Everything else was clean, neat, beautiful!
Homeowner was easy to get ahold of!

Trip not as planned.

Unfortunately on the 3rd day of our 10 days stay, my friend went into the hospital with an acute bowel obstruction. She had surgery on the 30th of September and is still there. We are already planning a trip to Maine in September next year!

Perfect for us

The neighborhood was surprisingly quiet for being so close to a major road. It was great to have private parking. It is within a few-block walk to restaurants/bars.

The property itself was clean and cozy and had everything we needed and the location was perfect. Will definitely stay here again if it is available for our next visit to San Diego.

Great Stay

My only issue was the bedroom does have a skylight in it that is extremely bright early in the morning which made sleeping in an issue for me personally. I would however stay there again. The location was great and we really appreciated having the driveway to park in since parking is such an issue in San Diego. We would highly recommend staying here

Great place & location
Publié le 20 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThis property was perfect for our extended weekend. The location is perfect, with a number of great restaurants within walking distance and a short drive to the other locations we planned to visit.
The casita is cute, cozy and fully stocked with literally everything you might need and even the things you didn't know you needed! The bed is also very comfortable. 😊
We had some minor trouble with one of the door locks and Nancy sent someone to take care of it and she was an overall very pleasant and attentive host.
I'd absolutely recommend this property and would book again if I visit the area.
