Publié le 29 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe were very pleased and will probably stay here again in the future. The place looks just as it does in the pictures. We felt very safe. You do have to park on the street but every day we were able to park right in front of the home. Neighbors are friendly too!

Perfect spot

Ok but nothing special
Publié le 19 mai 2023 sur HomeAwayFirst day we arrived we unpacked. Clean small place but looked fine. Then, Thought we would fix a drink and sit outside on the lounge furniture. Well that was disgusting. We pulled off the covers of the small chair, had rat poop on it. I swept it off. Then my husband uncovered the larger seat and Holly cow it was covered with rat poop and food that they had been eating. He swept it off and both chairs had so much rat urine on them there was no way we could even sit on them. Then once we went back inside (disappoint ) we noticed that the place had no soap for showering, no Kleenex , one pack of coffee that you have to pay for, no salt or any type of spices (so if you plan to cook you will need to buy everything ), we got 3 towels for 4 day stay (2 people 4 days 3 towels?). Not that close to PB and heavy traffic outside the building. we have stayed at several Vrbo’s and have been very comfortable. We did not go there for the beach this time, we went for a family event this time. I can say, this was one that we would not go back too.

I'm so sorry you experienced that. I wish you would have told me I would have come and cleaned the cushions. I will definitely call somebody to take care of that.
(Update) My neighbor has a fruit tree that attracts animals who love the sweetness of the fruit including mice and parrots. The neighbor has agreed to keep it cut back and bait traps have been put out as well as the entire property protected, as best we can, from any possible entry points.
As for toiletries, there is shampoo/conditioner and shower gel in the hall closet. We highly encourage people to bring their own favorite products to use. We have a snack station for our guests that includes coffee and we do not ask for money. There is a tip jar if you use it, but it is completely up to you what you choose to leave. Most guests are very happy that we provide this amenity. As for spices, they have been added and we appreciate your feedback on this. In the future always communicate with the host so that we can make your stay enjoyable. Finding out after the fact in an online review if heartbreaking since all of this could have been remedied for you.

Did not stay. We were not impressed with anything.

I'm sorry to hear this as I never received a call from you and you never communicated any of this via VRBO messaging. When you finally messaged me it was after your stay had ended and the only thing you stated you were not happy with was the distance to the beach. The distance to the beach is clearly stated in the description of the property. It tells the exact distance to the bay and the beach on the ocean side. Everything else is exactly as shown in the pictures. I have never had anyone say otherwise and have been doing this for 5 years now. It seems that perhaps you may not have read the property listing thoroughly upon booking. I truly wish you could have mentioned something before so I could have done something for you.

San Diego (PB) Getaway

Clean and comfortable - home away from home. Equipped with all essentials. Close to restaurants/grocery stores/pharmacy. On street parking was not a problem (street noise occasionally a little noisy early in the morning).
The beach was a lovely 1/2 hour walk or 8 minute drive away.

Great Suite and Location/Good Value
Publié le 4 avr. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe throughly enjoyed our stay. The suite was comfortable, well equipped and walking distance to beaches. We made use of the bikes to explore farther afield. City transit was also close and easy to access.
