Beach Bungalow - Steps to Beach!

Welcome to our beautifully appointed beach cottage! We have tastefully remodeled and refurbished the entire cottage last year so everything is new and clean. The cottage boasts a one bedroom, one bathroom layout and is comfortability sized for up to four guests. The kitchen offers all new appliances and is stocked with enough cooking utensils to please any chief. The 100Mb WiFi should satisfy any streaming, gaming or business needs and the wall mounted 65" Sony TV can be viewed from the private outside patio when BBQing or relaxing. Air conditioning (split unit heat pump) provides comfort in the summer and the living room sofa folds out to a queen bed with bedding located in the closet.

Being conveniently located 1 1/2 blocks to Dog Beach and 5 blocks to all local shopping, restaurants and entertainment, it's easy to get around town by either walking or biking. We keep two beach bicycles at the house for your use.

Because San Diego offers premier tourist destinations, the cottage is a great launching point to explore and enjoy everything the city has to offer! For us, UBER/Lift is the easiest way to get around. Be it Balboa Park, Padres baseball, Sea World, Convention Center or The Gas Lamp District, UBER/Lift is safe, easy and inexpensive.

Great place, fantastic location, wonderful host
The property was just as described. Ocean beach is a laid back area of san diego. Plenty of room and everything was clean. There was a nice little gift basket of bathroom supplies(toothbrush, soaps, shampoos, etc) in case you forgot anything. The location was fantastic. Couple of blocks from dog beach(which is exactly like it sounds.) 5-10 minute walk to all restaurants and shops. **do not miss going to ob noodle. Fried rice and garlic wings were the best meal we had during our stay. Last but certainly not least, linda is an amazing host. Quick to respond, extremely nice and welcoming and will do whatever to make your stay great. I would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Great bungalow in OB!
I love Ocean Beach and this place was just perfect for hubby, our little dog, and me. Just a couple of blocks to the beach and dog beach. The weekend we were there was Day of the Dog (AND Oktoberfest, and volleyball tourney, and surfing competition). It's such a walkable, dog-friendly neighborhood. Great restaurants nearby. Everyone is super friendly. The unit had a comfy bed and everything we needed for a fabulous long weekend!

Our stay here was great….the unit was clean and perfect for my husband and I. We didn’t have a car and it was an easy walk to everything we wanted to do in OB….the beach is literally at the end of the block, and the famous dog beach off to the right.

The Property was wonderful..All the best ammentities.. Chris was great location was wonderful and OB is the place to stay in San Diego. Only disclaimer that needs to be addressed is there is only one entrance to both apartments and thankfully we had great Neighbors but if your bringing your dogs realize that if some dogs don't get along the neighbor in back has to walk thru your patio to get to there apartment so if they walk in with out notice some pups get startled so again we text when someone needed to leave to make sure the coast was clear. Beside That the place is perfect..!!

Lovely little place!
We enjoyed our long weekend stay at this VRBO. The owners sent information in advance with the lock code and everything we needed to know about staying there. The document (which was also provided in the apartment) explained everything that was available and how to use it, which was super helpful and had just the right amount of detail. The apartment was clean and well-stocked, with some bathroom amenities and everything you would need to do some cooking. The bed was super comfortable, and I loved the location, which was only a few blocks from the beach/dog beach in one direction and a good variety of restaurants and shops in the other. It's also fairly central in SD and only took about 15 minutes to drive to any attractions. Since I live in the city I'm used to noise, and the airplanes didn't bother me at all; however, it is pretty loud and frequent and could bother more sensitive people. I will also mention that while I think this unit is detached, there seems to be another apartment right behind it, behind the same fence. This means that if there are people staying there you'll have people opening the gate and going past to get to their rental; as far as I could tell, the outdoor lounging space isn't shared, but worth keeping in mind that you may not have complete privacy within the fenced area.

Cottage homey and beautifully decorated. Kitchen had modern amenities. The patio was our favorite hangout which had comfy Adirondack chairs and patio umbrella. Conveniently Located within walking distance to beach , restaurants and pier. Owners very accessible and friendly. Only downside was air traffic noise and some challenges with parking.

Just Perfect!
Thank you Chris and family! This bungalow was perfect for our stay. From all of the amenities of home to the central location in the OB bubble. We especially enjoyed cruising the area on the beach cruisers provided. We slept soundly on the more than comfortable bed. We hope to return soon with our daughter and pup.
