We're open. Welcome to "Good Times & Tan Lines". We love our SD home and are so excited to be able to make it a perfect vacation getaway. This 4 bedroom home is well suited for families or several couples. It is close to everything in San Diego - but no need to leave, as you can enjoy the pool and custom built in Hot-tub in the backyard. New Trex Deck as of Dec 2020. There are many nearby dining and shopping options too.
The Space;
This spacious 4-bedroom home is centrally located in a quiet Clairemont neighborhood. This house is comfortable, clean and has so many awesome features - it is a must visit! The large master bedroom has a KING sized bed and a view of the pool. It also has two large closets and an updated en suite with dual sinks and natural rock shower. On the other side of the house, separated by the living room, family room and kitchen you will find the other 3 bedrooms and common area bathroom. Bedroom 2 has a queen sized bed, Bedroom 3 has a bunk bed with a full size on the bottom and twin on top and Bedroom 4 has a queen sized bed. There is also a queen sized sleeper bed in the living room But better than that is a hideaway bed stored in the master closet. This homes features hardwood flooring, granite counters, updated appliances, and a fully equipped kitchen with a coffee maker, dishwasher, refrigerator & lots of natural light. It is fully stocked with plates, utensils, small appliances, bar ware, etc. If you plan to do any cooking or baking during your stay, this kitchen will not disappoint. ★ Other perks ★ washer/dryer, tons of storage, plenty of parking, close to freeways, shopping centers, and only 6 miles from the beach. Please note, we do require all guests sign a short term rental agreement and pool liability waiver.
We have Air Conditioning! Now with San Diego's near perfect climate it won't be needed much but it's be there as an option for the summer months. AC is in mini splash and we have five indoor units. All bedrooms and one in the sitting room.

Très belle maison avec 3 chambres dont 1 suite parentale magnifique. Piscine très agreablé et tout est bien entretenu. Maison située dans un quartier pavillonnaire calme, près d’une grande surface. Géographiquement, près de la plage Jolla, près des centres d’intérêt de San Diego. Assistez à un match de base Ball avec l’équipe de San Diego les fathers!!!

The property and house were very clean and ample room in the house for us. It was close to a lot of the activities we went to which was a bonus. The neighborhood felt very safe. The only thing was that it would have been nice have a heated pool to swim as the water was to cold to swim. Otherwise our vacation was a ten out of ten.

Our Family Getaway
We are so grateful for the property. Steven was very responsive, accommodating to our needs, following up to answer our questions. The dishwasher had just broken down before our arrival but I’m sure it will be repaired/replaced shortly. The location was perfect for us as one of our sons and his family live on the same street. Centrally located and plenty of space
Family of 5, had space for all the kids to have their own room and own TV. Too cold for pool but enjoyed the hot tub. Location is easy to get everywhere but nice and quiet for relaxing at end of day. Has all the basics you need. Some areas are dated/worn and need of TLC, but not a big deal (drains in bathroom are slow, floorboards coming up here and there). Overall worked well for our family vacation!

We had family coming from multiple states a to come and stay. It was easy to get to and a great location. The house is close to many of the areas we wanted to visit, which made it convenient for getting around San Diego. There was plenty of kitchen utensils and cookware, which made it nice for cooking our meals.

The family gateway stay
We really enjoyed our stay! It was such a beautiful and spacious home. Steven and his family were great host, they provided board games and a little treasure hunt for when we arrived. we were here for my brothers bootcamp graduation so it was a special trip when we haven’t seen him in 3 months. We really enjoyed the hot tub! I would highly recommend people to stay here and I would gladly come back if I’m ever in San Diego again.

Best graduation ever
We had a great time at the property! The lounge area in the back was comfortable and the weather was beautiful. We were able to talk and eat and drink together around the family style table for my graduation party. We took the suggestions offered in the property’s book and went to La Jolla shores beach! My son loved it there! We had a great time here!

Great location and property! Thanks for the start-out groceries and snacks and a lovely, clean, tidy home! We comfortably fitted 2 families of 5 with kids between 6 and 14. Quiet place w/pool for the grandkids
Neighborhood was quiet. Pool was clean (little too cold for the adults) but kids played in it. Host was communicative and even let us check in a little early. Great place for family to relax and enjoy time together. I would stay again.

The house was clean and well equipped when we arrived. It is close to the beach and about 20 minutes from Legoland and the wild animal park. Quiet, Peaceful Neighborhood
We really enjoyed our stay! The house was located in a quiet neighborhood! It was conveniently located to everywhere we visited. Being outdoors, in and around the pool and hot tub was private, like being in our own little world! I would stay here again and I would definitely recommend it to my friends and family!

Perfect location in San Diego!
The house is in a perfect location not far from most of the fun in the area. The home itself was very clean and beautiful. We had fun in the pool and enjoyed sitting around the fire pit at night. The host was so understanding and helpful with a challenging situation that came up with our family. We highly recommend the home and would definitely choose this home again.

Great House in a Great Location
Just a super nice house in an awesome location. Literally about 20 mins drive to either the beach or downtown! Also at least when we were driving only experienced traffic for very short period and often not at all. Owners were very nice and helpful. Would certainly stay here with them again in the future.

Just as promised…
It is tough to choose a VRBO based on 49 photos and a few messages. We took a chance on this property and were delighted with our choice. The house itself was everything that was promised, it was neat and clean and well appointed with everything we needed. The location was central to everything we wanted. Communication with our host was so easy and the responses were quick. Check in/check out, also easy as can be. Can’t say enough good so I will just say this. Book the vacation, stay at the place, enjoy the time.
