Mission Beach Surf Lodge - Parking is included with this two bedroom condo, located in the very heart of Mission Beach. It is in the perfect location, directly between the beach and bay – just walk one block west to Mission Beach and one block east to the world famous Mission Bay. It includes one exclusive assigned parking spot and is in a gated building!

This vacation rental condo is very close to everything in Mission Beach. There is an excellent coffee shop in the front of the building and dozens of restaurants, bars and shops within a short walking distance. It is located on the second floor and has every comfort of home. With two bedrooms and a sofa, there are sleeping accommodations for up to five guests. There is a large full bathroom with a full bathtub. The kitchen features granite counters, stainless appliances and opens up to the family room so everyone can be together. The exterior of the building has security video cameras outside parking and door which may be used to protect the Property. Some furniture has been updated since some photos were taken.

There is plenty to see and do here with the calm waters of Mission Bay on one side and the waves and lively Mission Beach boardwalk just across the street.

You can park your car in the carport and lose the keys for your whole stay - you won't need them! Everything you'll need is at your doorstep from surf and beach wear shops, beach rentals, markets, pubs, great restaurants and coffee houses. You can rent a sailboat, stand-up paddleboards, surfboards, jet-skis, etc. or even try a Jet Pack rental! Ride bikes to Belmont Park and the Wave House or head over to the Catamaran Resort and Spa and hop on a paddle wheeler to cruise around Mission Bay!

This condo is located only minutes away from the Catamaran Spa, SeaWorld, the world famous San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, Old Town with it’s excellent Mexican restaurants, Belmont Park and it’s authentic 1920’s wooden roller-coaster, SeaPort Village, downtown San Diego’s GasLamp Quarter, the Convention Center and Petco Park.

Half hour from LegoLand, 40 minutes to The Wild Animal Park, 75 minutes to the quaint historic gold rush town of Julian, in the mountains, and another 30 minutes beyond that is beautiful Anza Borrego Desert State Park. Even Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm can be done as a day trip. Mexico is only 25 minutes away. If the usual tourist sights are not your thing, kick back and enjoy Mission Beach’s trendy ethnic and seafood restaurants, boutiques and bars or its wide white-sand beaches that go on for miles.

Clean, spacious, excellent location
We enjoyed the space of this two-bedroom apartment, above a coffee shop. It's about 2 blocks to the beach, and two blocks in the other direction to the bay. Best of all, it's right on a bus line. We were very happy to be car-less in San Diego, using buses and Lyfts was both cheaper and less stressful than renting and driving a car.

This condo was in a wonderful location in Mission Bay. A short walk to the beach or to the bay, and just above a nice coffee shop. The check-in was super easy, and Carl, the host, was very responsive. The kitchen was well-stocked with dished and spices. The best thing though, was the extremely comfortable bed in the master bedroom. We even asked Carl for the model! A couple things to note: 1. the washing machine is VERY loud 2. the parking space is very small. Overall, I would actually give this place a 4.8, just because of the washer and the parking space, however, I would absolutely stay here agasin!

Great location. Would stay again.
Overall my family had a great stay at this condo. You cant ask for a better location just a block away from the bay or ocean. We spent the majority of our time on the bay since the calm water was easier for my 3 year old and she got good use out of the sand toys that were available in the condo. The only minor issues we had were ther floors were a bit dirty (needed to be mopped) and there were a lot of drain flies the first day we arrived, which was fixed by pouring hot water down the kitchen drains. Aside from this, everything was great and Carl is a great host. Very acommodating and genuinely wants you to have a nice stay. 5 stars and would stay again. Thanks Carl

Wonderful Stay!
We had a great time in Mission Beach! The condo was perfect and had everything we needed. The coffee shop downstairs was delicious. The beach was a short walk away as well as shopping and food. The parking spot is super small, our 4Runner barely fit. But that didn’t effect us at all :) We will definitely stay there again!

We’d a great time at this unit close to Pacific Beach in Mission Bay. It was very conveniently located. We were moving our son into college and this was a great hub for us to do all of our activities. The place is located right above a better Buzz. which is a great coffee shop and sandwich place. Very convenient access to the freeways and La Jolla. We would love to come back here another time.

Great getaway
Working with Carl was very easy from the get go. He was very responsive to questions and provided help as needed. The location of the unit was very close to numerous restaurants, and split evenly between the ocean and the bay. We brought our own bicycles and the unit had a nice area to lock them up at. Carl mentioned the parking spot was a little tight, but we had no problem parking our kia telluride. The inside of the unit was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the washer/dryer was a welcomed addition to the unit. There was lots of beach equipment as well (multiple chairs, several umbrellas, a few boogie boards, and some sand toys as well for our kids). Without hesitation I would rent this unit again! Thanks Carl.

Great location right near the beach!
I am very honest with my reviews and I highly recommend this rental. Pros: location!!! 2 minute walk to the ocean and an easy walk or quick drive to other eateries on MB or close by. Rooms are a good size and the bed in the master was very comfortable. Bathroom is large and water pressure is really good. Unit was very clean. Parking space is tight, but not having to street park is always a plus. After getting used to opening the unit door (took a couple tries), it was very convenient not having to carry around any keys. Air conditioning units in both bedrooms kept the rooms very cool at night. Cons: We were only able to log into Netflix and only on 2 of the 3 TV's. I wish there was more streaming options, especially one with live TV. We did have some downtime at the condo and Netflix was the only option that was already signed into. There are 2 white/cream chairs next to the couch, one is in perfect condition and one is completely needing to be re-covered, but it was still fine to sit on.

Perfect Location!
Our family of 5 stayed and loved it. Clean & perfect location. Felt safe. We walked to the Beach and bay each morning and night. Walked to Belmont Park , and restaurants. Coffee right downstairs. Close to our whale tour too. The beach chairs/toys were a bonus to use.
