Great place in Point Loma/Ocean Beach
Posted Jun. 20, 2024 on HomeAwayGreat place to stay! The views of the ocean are wonderful and a great place to watch the sunset. The indoors/outdoor living is a great benefit as there is ample outside space to enjoy the SD weather. The neighborhood is very nice and you are close to Ocean Beach and the restaurants. John does a great job communicating and checking in to make sure you have everything you need. John is very conscientious and always quick to reply to any questions. The kitchen is well stocked and the additional snacks and drinks provided are a nice touch. The bed is comfortable and there is plenty of storage space. John and Michael also makes sure you are well supplied with extra towels, blankets, pillows, etc. Beautiful place to stay and would highly recommend!

Beautiful Accommodations with Stunning Views!
Posted Jun. 7, 2024 on HomeAwaySettled in a very nice and quiet area of Point Loma this accommodation had a stunning view of the ocean. Modern, clean, roomy with a deck the length of the unit. Deck provided a bar table and chairs to enjoy the view, a fire pit, swing and lounge chairs. Nicely decorated and everything you could possibly need were provided. It was the perfect getaway. The very best part was the living room garage door that opened to bring the outdoors in. John texted to let us know he was having some friends over in the event we heard them. We didn't but appreciated him letting us know. He also provided a notebook of restaurants and things to do in close proximity which we took advantage of. It was the perfect place to stay. We will definitely be back!

sunset views-great space

Owner thought of so many extra touches to make a short visit wonderful--(having beach towels, provided snacks to start us off---had suncreen and salt & pepper & more !! (lol-we have been places where next to nothing provided)--responds swiftly and makes sure all is well! Outdoor space as great as inside --spacious -loved the outdoor fire pit!

Amazing Property - Book It
Posted Apr. 10, 2024 on HomeAwayWow, did I feel like we lucked out booking here. The property is very nice, the view is gorgeous and it's a great location. Absolutely everything you could need is there. Motion lights in the hallway, chargers, water, dry shampoo, flashlights on the night stand, and even chocolate when you arrive. We walked in and my partner goes, it's like my dream house, everything I would think of and more.
Another bonus is the owner, John. He communicates early and often. He has great recommendations for things to do and places to eat in the area. He checked in on us to make sure everything was going well. He even got up early to meet us in person before we left. I can't say enough nice things about both him and the property.

Beautiful Property
Posted Apr. 2, 2024 on HomeAwayThis gorgeous home in Point Loma was the perfect spot for my husband and I to relax and do some sightseeing in San Diego. The location is ideal! Close to everything with a picture perfect view. You can walk 6 blocks to Sunset Cliffs, and see the best view of the sunset in all of San Diego. The Cabana is spotless, comfortable, beautifully decorated, and has anything you would need! The bed is wonderful, and to wake up and see the sun coming through the garage door window is paradise. John checked in occasionally through text to see if we needed anything, and the Welcome Basket was such a thoughtful and personal touch that we really appreciated. VRBO’s don’t get better than this. Finding this gem made our trip to San Diego that much better! Can’t wait to stay here on our next visit!

The best!
Posted Dec. 31, 2023 on HomeAwayWe have stayed in many VRBO vacation rentals and this one was at the top of the list. Not one detail for our comfort and convenience was overlooked. Host John Cashman went above and beyond in checking in with us during our stay to see if we needed anything.

Great Location and House!
Posted Dec. 11, 2023 on HomeAwaySuper great location! We loved being super close to Point Loma, PB, and Mission Beach. 10 min walk to a beach cliff with a view. John was a great host and had anything we needed.
Fire pit seating area in back was great and we could see the sunset from the home every night! Overall great stay!!

Great time in Sunset Cliffs
Posted Oct. 30, 2023 on HomeAwayMy wife and I had a 4 day stay for SDSU Parents Weekend and we thought this was the perfect place. Short drive to everything, nice walk down to the ocean, and the place was beautiful. We look forward to stay here again!

Fantastic Experience
Posted Oct. 22, 2023 on HomeAwayWe had a wonderful time during our three-night stay. The property is clean, spacious, and comfortable. There was a very nice care package left for us, along with detailed instructions on how to make use of all of the amenities and a listing of recommendations for dining and other attractions in the area. Our host communicated often via email and text and even had the courtesy to let us know when there would be guests for dinner upstairs above the rental one evening. I can highly recommend staying here and would stay again.

Perfect Place
Posted Oct. 19, 2023 on HomeAwayMy wife and I had a wonderful and relaxing time. The indoor/outdoor living was peaceful and great to have coffee in the morning and wine in the evening! The entire property was exactly as advertised. We had a little trouble lighting the outdoor fireplace but John was Johnny on the spot and had it going in no time. I selfishly want to keep this a secret so it’s available when we come back but others should enjoy it like we did.
