Squeaky bed, overall fine.
Publié le 6 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayOverall, this place was fine. It was in a good location for our needs, the neighborhood was nice. This was what seems like a converted space, maybe from a garage, just one big room.
The biggest problem was the bed was SO squeaky. The first night it significantly impacted my sleep, as it woke me up every time my spouse moved at all. I had to buy and use earplugs just to sleep the following nights, not because of neighbors or anything, just because of the bed.
The little kitchenette was cute and surprisingly stocked with appliances. We only had one k-cup to use for coffee. There was a grocery nearby, but we would have had to buy a whole pack of k-cups in order to use the only coffee-machine. This felt inconsiderate since we don't have a Keurig at home, and would never have traveled here with k-cups.
The whole place felt a bit cheap. With all of the decor feeling like they just walked into a HomeGoods and bought the display. It looks good for photos, but the quality was bad. But overall, this served our needs. It was clean, and the owner was very communicative and accommodating as our original dates changed.

San Diego getaway
Publié le 3 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayWent to see our great grandson and his mommy and dad. This place was close and very nice. everything we needed. We took our little dog and he enjoyed it to. :) The walks around the Neiborhood were wonderful. Will stay again.

Just enough space with amenities for a quick getaway!

I’d recommend this space if you would like something simple in a suburban area to retreat while on vacation in between activities.

There is a family in the attached house. They were quite active in the driveway when I arrived but then didn't see or hear the rest of the time.

Nice studio near La Mesa
Publié le 22 août 2022 sur HomeAwayJust as advertised. Very much suited for the traveling worker or an overnight stay while traveling. Lots of cooking supplies. Although the neighborhood is very nice the walls of this remodeled garage are very thin. We could hear the attached units dinner conversation and needed to play music to drown out their noise.

Perfect getaway
Publié le 2 juin 2022 sur HomeAwayOur stay was fantastic! Location was great and its peaceful and quiet. Lake Murray is locayed within a few city blocks as well. I also had great parking. Close to front door in good low crime neighborhood.
Everything you'll need for your stay down to the smallest detail was available. (Free NetFlix!) Water is also super cold/piping hot. All ameneties you can think of are included.
Our Host Sabrina was super awesome! The silliest thing happened with TV remote batteries. Sabrina had a pack delivered by doordash within 30 minutes directly to our front door!
It was such a great experience. No hiccups and not 1 single thing to complain about. Soo much better than paying double at a hotel that doesnt offer half of what you get here.
I highly reccomend this place whether its a few days or week. You will truly feel at home.
We will certainly be returning in the future due this experience. Thank you again!

Publié le 5 mai 2022 sur HomeAwayAside from pretty constant bird chirping, which I loved coming from the city and my girlfriend didn’t enjoy, it was a perfect stay. Would highly recommend!
