Depending of the bathroom, you could have a broken toilet seat, a rickety soap holder, a broken toilet paper holder, or no toilet paper holder at all. The shower heat was aimed at the top of my head, which is not practical when you don't want to hold it while you soap yourself. The lamp over my bed would have been very practical... if it was working. One of my roommates snore so loud, the management was called by two others, and she still remained over my head. Three out of six stove burners did not work, and the oven had to be ignited by two people and a BBQ lighter. Food tends to disappear whether you identify it or not. Besides that, good option for the price.

Avec nos 2 enfants, nous avons apprécié l’accès à la cuisine partagée, toute équipée. Nous avons pu y prendre nos petits déjeuner et y préparer un dîner.

The hostel was smelly and dirty. The guy in my room who introduced himself as a volunteer there, tried to harass me when he came back from somewhere apparently drunk.
I also found somebody’s dirty underwear in my bed when I came back to my room the next day and my sheet was taken off and thrown to the side.

It was a good location and the staff was nice. But the temperature was too warm in the room, and there was no way to remedy that situation. Even just a ceiling fan would have been a HUGE improvement. Oh, and no washcloths. 😵💫

Publié le 24 sept. 2024 sur HotelsYou do get what you pay for, and that isn’t a terrible thing. There was nice shampoo and conditioner and shower gel in the bathroom but no hand soap at the sink. You have to make your own bed and they tell you to leave the fleece blanket on the bed and bring the linen down to a dirty laundry basket, but this made me concerned that they don’t wash the fleece blanket they give you. I did not visit the common areas, but because they weren’t integrated to the flow of the rooms/lobby. I’m frequently in SF but it won’t be my first choice to stay here again. Also a decent hike uphill from the muni train.
