Posted Aug. 22, 2024 on HotelsOur stay was actually amazing. This hotel is in the perfect area to explore San Francisco. Super close to fisherman’s warf, lots of local pubs and food, close views of the golden gate and Alcatraz.
As for the ELEVATORS, the people reviewing this place complaining there’s only one elevator are very entitled and whiny. Yes there’s was only one elevator working at a time, no it wasn’t an issue. We stayed here for 6 days and didn’t have one issue getting an elevator up or down and we were on the 10th floor. People just need to find a way to complain to deal with their superiority complex.
10/10 would stay here again

Overall it was great but the breakfast could have been better - a better muffin selection and the sausages were gross

The room itself was good only thing is not enough lighting. The sink the water would go into the countertop instead of inside the sink when water was turned on. The elevator issue was a disaster only one working elevator. Took so long to be able to go down or go up. And lastly hidden fees! The customer service however was really good. But the breakfast options which they’d switch it up.

Dated hotel property. Room had a musty smell but was clean. The hotel was very conveniently located near the major attractions in Monterey.
