Very easy to get around from this location. Lots of pickups to tourist events in this area. Easy to commute without a car.

Can’t believe you make people pay for WI-FI….not something I have come across in 4/5 star hotels. The room was spacious and clean but dated Staff were helpful but communication was not great at times There were a lot of homeless in and around the hotel and the journey from the BART after hours felt intimidating

Amazing stay for hibernating bears

My son flew in from LA to take care of me after I had surgery. Instead of staying in my small apartment we decided to stay at the St. Francis. What a place to recover. We both slept so well. The bed, pillows and bedding were so comfortable. The housekeeper came in to clean the room after the hibernating bears went for a walk and when we came back it didn’t even look like we had slept there. The breakfast was amazing. Especially the homemade salsa. We ordered room service twice and the food was outstanding. The service impeccable. This is the third time staying at the St. Francis. It’s my go to hotel when staying in the city and I don’t think I’ll be staying anywhere else.
