Nice But Neighborhood, Not So Much

We liked the accommodation ( inside room and building). Comfortable and clean. We appreciate the water and ice dispenser on each floor.
Breakfast was limited. My daughter only drink hot chocolate, but they only had tea or coffee. Refilling of milk dispensers, jams are not done regularly. Appreciate the fruits, but would have wanted banana as other option. Croissant are always cold. Pls. Consider variety each day. Please consider peanut butter as another option.
I would highly suggest offering transportation to your guests as we felt very unsafe walking in and out the hotel. Or offer mini fridge and microwave in rooms for convenience.

Hotel is clean. Downsides are the neighborhood and no private bathroom door, just a curtain

Great new hotel build in the thick of the Tenderloin. Great access to ice, water and information inside. Great access the the realities of gentrification outside.
Rough area outside at night. No reflection on the hotel at all. Always secure and safe.

The hotel was fantastic, technology advances, snazzy and felt high end. It was secure and beautifully designed. Pretty quiet, with decent sound proofing. Black out blinds. Towel warming rack.
The rainfall shower isn't super great for those who don't want their hair doused in water everyday, but there is a wand that comes with the shower too that is a bit oddly placed.
I'm not sure the cleaners cleaned the room during our visit, though definitely tidied it up.
That said, downtown San Francisco has a pretty bad houseless problem, and waking to the hotel, sometimes you're required to go through it. People don't bother you, but it's a steak contrast to the posh feel of the hotel.
