San Gimignano Gem
Posted Sep. 28, 2024 on HomeAwayBeautiful. We had 7 wonderful days at La Porticciola. Alessandro the host was very approachable and even arranged for a cook to come in for 2 nights. Imagine sitting on the terrace having a wonderful meal below the lights of San Gimignano. Magical

Awesome house in walking distance to Gimignano

2 week stay
Posted Sep. 3, 2024 on HomeAwayAbsolutely adored this house, location and host. Alessandro is a very responsive and helpful host. We had a couple of severe storms and he checked in to make sure I was fine (there was a period where I was by myself). The rooms are large, air conditioned and comfortable. The pool is very relaxing, especially after a hot day. I hope to come back some day!! Highly recommend

Great to be back in San Gimignano
Posted Aug. 13, 2024 on HomeAwayIt's been 19 years since we last went to San Gimignano, not much has changed - the same beautiful town. All logistics (check in/check out etc) were very smooth and relaxed. The location was fabulous for us, nice and quiet but only a short drive to the town. Parking has always been a problem, but if you go early/late you can get the best spaces. The pool was very welcome given it was 39 degrees most days of our stay. Id definitely recommend and hope to be back one day.

Relaxing vacation
Posted Jul. 28, 2024 on HomeAwayThe property is walking distance to San Gimignano. The house has air conditioning and it is definitely a must in the summer. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. The host is attentive and very helpful. We all enjoyed our stay.

A Very Beautiful Place

Perfect villa
Posted Jun. 29, 2024 on HomeAwayThe views of San gimignano are amazing from the outside seating area. Close enough to walk or a short drive into town but feels like a rural setting.
Alessandro is also very helpful and the villa is well stocked. Pool are is great.
Best part is going into town after the hordes of tourists board their buses back to Firenze.

Beautiful trip
Posted Jun. 23, 2024 on HomeAwayThis is a truly lovely house in an amazing spot. Very walkable to San Gimignano but also feels quite and private. The host is very accessible, extremely helpful and will connect you to any added things you might need during your stay. The pool feels amazing on a hot day and we couldn't have asked for a better experience!
