Closeness to the San Pio Sanctuary and the Basilica Santa Maria delle Grazie as well as to the bus station. Front desk George was very helpful and spoke English well. He was knowledgeable on the history of San Giovannni.

The location was perfect. Easy walking distance to the sanctuary, Church and town center. The staff was very professional and extremely helpful and outgoing. The rooms were very clean and the AC worked perfectly. Overall a great stay and definitely would recommend.

Shower was tight and parking was not free
Publié le 5 août 2024 sur HotelsSan Pio Hotel was perfectly located within 5 minutes to the main church of Maria delle Grazie. The staff especially Pierre and Asia were very helpful. The room was ideal for couple.
The biggest downside was the size of the shower. I am 6ft 200lb person and it was tight in there. If you accidentally drop your bar soup, it will be difficult to pick it up with it's narrow 2ft x 2ft space.
Another downer was that the website did not mention that there willbe an additional 12 euros daily charge for parking the car in their premises. I picked this place because of its location and it had parking. I was used to free parking in our previous hotels during my prior 3 visits to San Giovanni.

Good location for visiting the churches. There's restaurants and religious stores along the way. The front desk attendant was accusing me of losing the room card She wouldn't listen to me when I told her I left it on the counter. She finally found it, but didn't bother to apologize. The bed was uncomfortable.
