Great host!
I felt compelled to write a review, because the host, Irma, was so exceptional. She knew that we were coming in without a car, being dropped off by Taxi, very late in the evening, and it will be difficult for us to get any food that evening and for breakfast the next morning. So she happily offered to go to the grocery store and buy some food for us and put it in the fridge. Wow. Also, each day we would get fresh eggs from her farm, and fresh baby tomatoes. So delicious. Irma just went out of her way to help us in any way she could, in general. The accommodation itself met all of our needs, and really was a lovely home. It has a fun chicken coop out the front and a lovely garden in the back and you can walk down to the river through some interesting Costa Rican wilderness. I could see a very hot day. Perhaps One could go swimming there.
