This property is quite dated, but the room did seem reasonably clean. However, we were told when we checked in at 10:00 p.m. that the room has no hot water due to remodeling. Because hotels in the area are all full tonight, there are no other rooms available here or in the San Jose area, and since I booked through Travelocity rather than directly with the hotel, I could not get a discount or refund. It seems that a room known to lack hot water either should not have been available for booking at all, or there at least should have been a warning about this issue prior to finalizing the booking. But at least the clerk did let us know of the issue at check in rather than just ignoring the situation.
