Gated community , This beautiful La Garita Spanish Colonial 3 BR Home is located in a pristine guarded community in La Garita de Alajuela. Very attractive well-maintained home and property, perfect for those who enjoy the comfort and privacy combined with a leisure lifestyle. The location is perfect: surrounded are all plant-fruit trees nurseries, shopping areas, and restaurants at close range, medical facilities close by, easy access to hwy 1, 3, and 27, the international airport is a 20-minute drive, Atenas at 15 minutes. The double-lot property measures in total 1573 m2 (0.4 acres), is beautifully landscaped, and totally fenced in with 4 security cameras. We have smartly made full use of the land and created a truly relaxing family retreat. This 3800 sq.ft (350 m2) home has a beautiful flow with many attractive details. There is a spacious living/dining room that connects to the kitchen and also directly to the outside living areas and gardens. The large master bedroom has its own 4Pc ensuite and large walk in closet. The Second Bedroom also has a walk-in closet and shares a full 3Pc bathroom with Bedroom three , both Bedroom 2 and 3 have Beautiful view of lush backyard and pool. The backyard is designed to be a fun and entertaining retreat with several sunny and shaded areas. There is an oversized swimming pool with a jacuzzi and an outdoor shower, a funky surfer Ranchito, and a large beach-sports bar-style rancho with a grilling area and comfortable lounge seating. This extremely well-maintained home is waiting for your family vacation. Note: Price includes 4 guest and is extra $20 per day/visit to maximum of 8. No loud parties or private events.

Garita nice and easy stay near airport
Lovely private home in gated community so felt very safe. Great communication with owner. There are 3 bedrooms with queen beds, in the description it does show one room with 2 singles, not the case, but we made do! Great restaurant, Casa Mia close by I would recommend for dinner.

Hiiden peace
Hidden Paradise is a peaceful oasis. A large, roomy residence and safe enough to have all the doors and windows open to benefit from the lvely breeze. No air conditioner needed. The kitchen on the dark side but opening the garage door somewhat brightens the day. Kitchen utensils, glass wear could us a bit of TLC. The garden a true oasis to spend the day in.

Great family getaway!
Our family had a wonderful time at this property. The house was a great size for our family (including our 3 teenage kids). The backyard and pool felt like a mini resort. I enjoyed that there were multiple large tables and furniture where everyone could sit comfortably. We felt very safe and relaxed throughout our stay. We would highly recommend this property.

Great Relaxing Getaway
So the family and I stayed at this location in March but my daughter got sick and my wife really didn’t get a chance to enjoy herself because she spend most of the time in the hospital San Jose hospital with her. I took it upon myself to surprise her for her birthday and it was just me and her this time. She really enjoyed herself so much at the house, and was relaxed. We spent every day outside just enjoying the views and listening to the birds in the morning, while eating breakfast and drinking coffee/tea. I did a lot of laps in the pool. The security guards were friendly and the neighborhood peaceful. We did 2 miles walks within the neighborhood, also every morning. And as the last, Jeffrey the host was outstanding and amazing. Communication is the key to success and we did a lot of that. It just makes life easier. Thank you,Jeffrey for being a great host and providing paradise for me and my wife.

Family Retreat
Beautiful property amazing landscape, the pictures that you see online is just what you get when you stay here. The home has a resort appeal if you are just wanting to relax and enjoy the beautiful pool and the outdoor kitchen with a view of the hills and mountains around you. Nice to take morning walks in the neighborhood after a good yoga stretch and warm up.

Mistreatment of Landland (Jeff)
We booked for 4 nights but left after 1 and request a refund that we did not receive. When we arrived we called (Jeff) but he refused to allow us in the property because he was upset we were unable to keep constant communication. He spoke to us in such a demeaning way and scolded us for not having constant communication. He finally allows us to enter after I apologizing and explain our mobile issues when entering CR.

We really enjoyed this home. Plenty of indoor space for a family of 7 with lots of bathrooms. The most outstanding part is an amazing backyard area with a gorgeous pool. Very safe and secure as well. 15-20 minutes from San Jose airport.

Great place to stay near San Jose
We needed a place to stay near the San Jose airport at the end of our trip and this property was excellent. It was easy to find, well maintained and has a beautiful back yard. We enjoyed the pool and also the quick walk to the bar at the corner, which was one of the less expensive dinners we had in Costa Rica, but was really good. Our family of 7 was accommodated well and we enjoyed our stay. Jefferey was great with communication and keeping us informed. This is a great option for a place near San Jose.

The reviews I had read before booking this property were ALL true! This property is amazing! The pool is very beautiful and very clean. The owner of the property always communicated with us. The little fruit stand close by, on the main road, has fresh and great fruit selections. People are very friendly and kind.

Oasis Getaway
1st I want to say is thank you allowing me and my family to stay at this property. Upon arrival, our eyes was amazed by the beauty of this home. We acted like kids trying to pick dibs on the rooms. We all enjoyed the grounds, pool, area and felt so safe with having security right outside by the house. My son and I even made friends with the older security guard. I forgot his name but my son traded instagram with him. The host, Jeffrey was so great by responding to all my texts in a quickly manner. He kept me informed of who will be by the property, on what day and time and I really appreciated that. He advised me of a great place to eat, which where I took my son to celebrate his 26th birthday, amazing place. The area was so safe, that I took morning walks each day. Despite my daughter getting injured doing zip lining and having to spend a night in the hospital, the family and I had a great time. I will definitely book this home again on our next stay in Costa Rica.

Our stay was everything we expected it to be from booking + more! The fact that the whole villas was at our expense, was great! The photos are only giving a glimpse of this wonderful stay. Spacious and filled with everything you need. It’s far away from the busy city but an 1 hour 30 min taxi/Lyft ride away from Jaco, which was where the party is! Looking for peace and a wonderful back yard filled with beautiful scenery and an amazing pool.This is your villa! Mr. Jeffery was very responsive anytime we needed to ask a question! I’d recommend this stay to anyone, just have a rental car or be prepared for Lyft/taxis!
